Absolutely terrible. I used to love Drop before the gift cards were always “sold out”. Recommended it to friends all the time. Now it’s just a big waste. And they don’t respond to feedback.

Do not join the drop app. The Fung brothers are thieves. It has been over one year now that i cannot get the $150.00 in gift cards that I rightly deserve. At 1 pm on Thursdays you cannot get into the app to get any gift cards.

When this app started it was great but now they wont even pay the money for surveys we did over a year ago. They are very hard to reach n uou csn not explain when goed wrong with the app when trying to get your gift cardd they owe us. It just keeps spinning but you csn never get anywhere. I used to do many durveyd for drop
.now none.

This is the worst app!! So frustrating trying to redeem the over 70k points I have. Every week I set a time on phone before 1 and get on to redeem the points to get a gift card and every time I never receive one. I think it’s BS and no one is getting the gift cards. They use to be one of my favorite apps to get gift cards but I have given up on them. I hate the Drop app!!

I used to like Drop, but have been unable to redeem any of my over 79,000 points to receive gift cards. I try every week. I log on a few minutes before noon and immediately click on a gift card to redeem, but I have not gotten anything for months. They're all "sold out". I believe that Drop is not even redeeming any gift cards at all. I predict they'll be going out of business soon.

Drop used to work. In the past, I have successfully redeemed points for gift cards. They changed their procedure for redemption in 2023. I have $50 worth of points that I have been unable to redeem for months. I have signed in and attempted to redeem multiple times exactly at 12 pm Thursdays (when the gift cards for the week are released) and I never get one. There are too many users and it's sold out before I can even process my request. If this does not change, I will be reporting to the BBB.

totally ridiculous

I have tried for several months to cash in over $240 worth of points to gift cards and am never able to. I'm tired of them having access to my spending if they aren't willing to pay out in the original agreement of their app.

This app used to be wonderful. Earning points for giftcards was great. Recently it has been impossible to get a gift card. They only allow them to be redeemed on Thursdays, set a 5 dollar limit and it's literally impossible to get one. Don't bother using this app.

Crappy app. Week after week I have tried to claim gift cards and they are NEVER available. I really do not believe the company out any gift cards as they claim. A complete waste of time. I have over 40,000 points that I cannot do anything with. This app is a joke and I would not advise any waste their time with it!!! A COMPLETE JOKE.

This has been a scam for months. They continue to mine and sell data, but not paying out their members by allowing them to redeem points for gift cards. I just filed a complaint with the FTC. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Pure scam. And not even a good one. They don't have any gift cards. You will earn NOTHING from this app, ever.

Absolute scam. They are broke and will go out of business soon, but not before they steal all of the points / money we have earned via their affiliate shopping. Those retailers are paying Drop for our purchase commissions but Drop is not remitting our payments via points/gift cards as required - it’s theft. Looking forward to the inevitable lawsuit.

Nightmare. More than $500 of earned points locked away and can't redeem through their scam of gift cards. Unlinked cards. Waiting for a class action suit.

Absolute scam I have over 100 dollars that I can’t ever get the redemption process is a joke don’t waste hour time on this app.

this is a scam operation relying solely on an algorithm.

We ought to report this to the news agency so they can expose these scammers.

Really enjoyed the idea of the app, however I have yet to be able to redeem any points. I have over $70 to redeem but every week I log on to select a gift card and every week I “just miss it” and they sell out or the app crashes. I’m partially convinced they aren’t giving away any gift cards and this is just a scam to keep you on the hook.

No point using it if it doesn’t work.

I have been a loyal drop customer for years. They recently change the redemption process for the points that you earn. They release a limited amount of gift cards every Thursday at 1pm EST. Every week I have opened my drop app 10 minutes early in hopes of redeeming a gift card and I get absolutely nothing!! Even though I always press the “redeem” button within SECONDS of the gift cards being released. The app has either given me an error message saying I need to update my app (I always keep it updated) or it says that all the gift cards have been redeemed for the week. This app has turned into a total scam!! I currently have $68 in points that I will probably never get back. I have removed all my accounts and credit cards from this app!!

Used to be good, but has turned into a scam. You can only redeem gc once a week at a certain time, but all the gift cards are sold out within seconds. I've been trying for months, and nada. Sometimes needs to report them. They're mining credit card data with absolutely no return to the consumers.
