You can never redeem points! Completely useless app.

This app was really good when I first signed on it over a year ago. I was able to redeem $75 in gift cards until they made some recent changes a few months ago. Now, just like all the recent reviewers have stated, I can no longer redeem any points. I have tried for several months with no luck and now I’m going to disconnect all of my information because this app is no longer any good. I do not recommend this to anyone.

I have used Drop for years now, and love the affiliate shopping aspect of it for deals/points, but the past few months you guys have REALLY dropped the ball. I have over 100K points I've been saving up to spend on a gift card, but as soon as I hit it (and for months following), all I see is that your gift cards are SOLD OUT!
Not only that, but your app keeps pushing out the "Next Drop in...." date every. single. day.

Drop used to be a reputable company but is now a total scam. I have nearly 250,000 in points earned that I should be able to redeem for $250 in gift cards but they make it impossible. I've reported them to the FTC and BBB. Others should as well.

DROP is a scam. Like other reviewers, I have been trying to redeem points for months. I just delinked my cards and will check online to join a class action suit

I can no longer recommend this app. I acculated my points to redeem for gift cards and I've been trying for last several months to redeem and cannot. They make it easy to accumulate points, but then you can never redeem them. They only release things to redeem once a week at 1pm on Thursday and you can never get in to redeem and after a minute it says everything is gone and try again next week. They make it very difficult to reach out to support. The only way to contact them is through the app and they keep redirecting you to their FAQ which is not helpful. When a case is submitted, you always just get some generic response back. I would suggest not using this app and if you are using it now, unlink all your accounts and stop giving them all your info for free.

I've been using this app since October 7th 2019, and this app was excellent allowing me to cash in almost $400 in gift cards for a total of 3.5 years and it was gift cards for almost any value from $25 up. Then in April the silicon valley bank collapsed and this app went to hell!

Currently I have over 300,000 points which in their terms it should equal $300.00 in gift cards. That's a lot of freaking money! March 7, 2023 was the last time that I was able to cash in any points and that was for a $50 amazon card.

I tried again at the very end of June to cash in a $100 uber card and it showed there was a delay and then on July 12th the CEO, Derrick Fung, sent out an email discussing how the bank collapse directly affected them; and how it forced delays in issuing people's gift cards; and that beginning July 17 they would refund any pending points used towards a gift card back to our account; and how we would need to basically fight for ONE SINGLE $25 gift card ONCE A WEEK AT EXACTLY NOON with God only knows how many members are fighting for a gift card at the same time.

Since July, I have been going into the app at exactly 11:59am EVERY SINGLE THURSDAY like so many of us and by 12:01pm the app says that they are SOLD OUT, if the app didn't crash on you first!

This is BS!!! I'm so tired of this! I get that they were affected by the bank collapse but they have made money on us from day one and continued to make money with each transaction we made during the period of the gift card freeze where NO ONE was able to get anything and still make money off of us now, and yet, once a week, we all have to try to fight for one measly $25 gift card? They don't even give us any idea of how many gift cards are even available (if they are actually giving any out - we have no proof) or even how many members are trying to fight for said cards. I mean honestly, if you go to any social media or forum or anything where you can post things, and you sort the reviews/comments by most current, every single one since at least June 2023 is negative and none of them mention they were successful at getting a gift card during this time of once a week! ZERO people.

Personally, I have removed all my linked cards from my account so they can't make anymore money from my purchases/activities - I still go in every week in the hopes of a miracle but even then, I have over $300 vested into this garbage app so at this rate, it will take me years to collect what I earned.

But you guys mark my words, since they are clearly not making any effort to make things right with us, the people who made them money in the first place; they will file for bankruptcy and create a new company and app and leave us hanging without any way of ever collecting our money.

It's nearly impossible to redeem your points

It was a good and legit app. Now it is a scam. Somehow they are still advertising and trying to get people to sign up for it, which blows my mind. It is virtually impossible to cash out points, but they still get to sell your data. If you want to give your data away for free, fine, but know that is all you’re doing.

This used to be a legit app. For the last year though, it has been atrocious. They have made it IMPOSSIBLE to redeem points. They won’t tell you how many gift cards are available each week and I’m sure it’s because there are NONE! It’s become a scam app that just steals your information and sells it. Unlink your cards NOW!!

I’ve been using Drop since 2018 and it USED to be a great way to gain points towards rewards and gift cards. I actually was a winner of a contest in late 2018 and was gifted an Nespresso Vertuo machine, an Sonos speaker, Bose headphones, and I think one small but nice item. A friend of mine initially got me to sign up and I thought it was a cool idea to just link my card, shop at the grocery store (HEB used to be an option), and rack up points for contests or gift cards. There were various dollar amounts for gift card redemptions also. Over the past 6-10 months it has continuously gone downhill. There’s no games anymore. I have over $50 worth of points and can’t redeem them for a gift card (the only redemption option now) because I can’t even get the app to open 5 minutes before the new “drop” time of noon on ONLY Thursdays. The app freezes, crashes/times out, or just doesn’t even load. I get that a massive load of individuals are attempting to do the same, but I’m wondering how anyone is able to snag a card with the app not working. And the gift cards are only offered at $25 each. I just want to know what happened to the company and why everything changed *not for the better*.

Drop is a complete scam and waste of time. It does not matter how many points you have you will NEVER be able to redeem them for a gift card!

Have $346 and have never been able to redeem for gift cards. GARBAGE app.

This app is a complete scam! Do not download it. They get all your information and you get nothing after that. I have almost 100,000 points and can never redeem them. You are wasting your time with this! Complete scam!

I have been using for years like 8-9 and always was easy to redeem points I had not redeemed any since last Dec have almost 200k I always used for holiday gift cards they suddenly changed app and you can never now get them. I used to play games in app for extra points take surveys etc now impossible you have to use points to get to them so no longer using they went from a 5star app to a 1 star overnight have 209 points I will never be able to use and several hours of time wasted on games and surveys for points.i will continue to try and get cards but deleting my credit card links

Do not download this app. I have been a user for many years. Used to be great. Now, it's impossible to redeem your points. I have unlinked all my cards and am basically trying to redeem the points I already have.

Totall scam. You can't redeem anything. But they sure sell my buying trends

This is a scam. They make it impossible for anyone to redeem gift cards. I contacted support multiple times and I've yet to receive a response. Remove your linked cards and delete the app. Do NOT use them!!!

Garbage company that's going bankrupt and doesn't pay out on rewards. Do not sign up.
