This app used to be great and now it's terrible. It's impossible to redeem your points for giftcards. Worst app and company

Total scam. Drop does not allow anyone to actually redeem any rewards anymore. I have over $65 in rewards that I haven't been able to redeem for over 6 months now.

I have been repeated unable to redeem my points in the app for SEVERAL months. Attempts to contact support results in canned answers or no reply at all— this company has genuinely given up on its users. Apparently it’s had financial issues, and it’s resolution has screwed its user base completely.

The app doesn’t issue notifications as it says it will, all my phone settings are enabled to allow this and app is updated.

I was on the app at 1pm EST (2pm my local time) and the redeem status never changed, it simply says “next drop Oct 5, 2pm”. The same message showed AFTER 2pm.

changing the redeem feature was such a backwards move and makes the app ridiculously difficult to use now. I just want to redeem so I can close my account, this is just a data farming app if users can’t actually benefit from it anymore.

If you’re signed up, unlink all your cards and close your account/delete the app

I like everyone else have been trying to redeem a gift card for over a month, they make you wait to redeem every Thursday at 12, I hit exactly at 12 and it still said sold out after the app act like it was checking to see if there was one available. I will not try to earn anymore points until I can get one a gift card. They should just close the app, waisting people time. I like others users have used it for years but something is totally wrong

This app used to be good. I redeemed for a $50 Amazon card back in December of 2022 with no issues. Now they have a system in place where a very limited number of gift cards go live every Thursday at 1:00pm eastern time. You’re only allowed to collect one $25 card a week if you’re even lucky enough to get one a week.

Even if you are in the app and ready to claim a card at exactly 1:00 pm and are able to get the “redeem points” button you end up with a “wait while we check inventory” message followed by an error message. I’ve managed to get one card the first week I tried and ever since nothing. I wonder if that’s part of a scam, they allow you to have one to make you think it’s legit. I’ve been trying almost every week for 2 months.

I reached out to support about the error messages and they just acted like it was normal and that it just happens to some people when they try to redeem and they basically just left it at that and would not do anything about it even when I showed them screenshots of my issues.

I just tried again today and got error message after error message all in less than one minute. Use another app instead.

zero stars. this app used to be great it has now become a scam. you cant redeem your points anymore. they only release gift cards once a week but they sell out within a minute. i have tried for months now but the app always glitches and then says sold out within a minute. today it told me the app was too busy try again. unbelievable. meanwhile theyre using our credit card info and shopping info with no benefit to us anymore

Useless service. Cannot redeem points anymore. Unlink your cards to stop giving this company free access to your data

The Drop app has become a scam... impossible to redeem points anymore. You can only try to redeem on Thursdays at 12N and gift cards "sell out" within seconds. Clearly they are very tightly controlling gifts (if allowing any to be redeemed at all). This never used to be like this. BEWARE, now it is a scam.

I have been with Drop for over 5yrs and never ran into an issue of not being able to collect my gift cards. Recently I have not been able to exchange my earnings for a giftcard because it says they are all sold out. I have now $132 worth of earnings to spend and I am not allowed to buy a card due to always being sold out. I'm not sure what to do this has been going on for months now.

Pay attention to dates on star reviews!! 3 positive reviews in all of 2023. All very positive prior to that. This app is concerningly and obviously now a scam, holding over $200 worth of gift cards that I can't redeem, despite following all steps carefully each week. They refuse to answer anyone on how many gift cards are even offered weekly and tech support has gone completely silent. Check every social media platform, review page, etc....ALL feedback is consistent.

Drop is a giant scam. It’s impossible to redeem points for gift cards. I have over 200k points and I’m unable to use them on gift cards: I unlinked my cards and everyone else should do the same.

It's a scam - you won't be able to do anything worthwhile with the points

Don't bother with this app. It is near impossible to ever redeem your points for gift cards. They only allow gift card redemptions one day a week and are "sold out" in less than a minute. Even if i try to redeem points the second redemption is turned on, message says all sold out and to try again next Thursday. Waste of time and effort

Waste of time! I have over 200k points and I’ll never get my gift cards. Gift cards go on sale every Thursday at 1:00pm and are sold out in less than 60 seconds! I’ve tried every week for 2 months and have gotten 1. This app used to amazing but now is AWFUL!!!! Support team is also useless, tells you to reinstall the app and keep trying, no you need to switch it back how it used to be where you just redeemed your points as you wanted and when you wanted. No wonder all the influencers stopped promoting this app!

I just deleted my account as it has become absolutely impossible to redeem point for gift cards since they changed to immediate redemption. You can only redeem on Thursdays at 11am and they sell out in literally 5 seconds. This is absolutely ridiculous considering other sites with immediate redemption (Prime Opinion for example) do not do this and it is super easy to redeem. Stay away from Drop. Absolutely worthless.

1 star is too much. i have been trying for months to redeem my points and every time the app crashes. i regret giving these frauds my bank info. Class action needs to happen now. This should be illegal...

Never able to redeem any points. I have 125,000 points that I can never redeem with this new system. It is horrible! Please don’t waste your time!
