I create hand drawn illustrations that challenge the concept of reality, physics and the world we live in. I use my art to illustrate my thoughts with geometric shapes, lines, and a pointillism style of shading. I use mostly black and white contrasting tones that counter bold imagery with fine detail and hidden elements. Jon Judace Art is an art brand that produces original hand drawn art, products and fashion inspired by African culture, science and nature. My business was born out of my passion for Art and a love for craftmanship, my aim has always been to share my art with as many people as possible. I have always been someone who loved to draw and in 2010 I started experimenting with greeting cards that had my art printed on them, then I moved onto products like bags and T-shirts and began selling them through local stores and markets. In 2014 I became a fulltime Artist, I started art classes in Brixton, (the area I grew up in), held regular markets in Brixton and Vauxhall markets and launched my website. Since then I have had many collaborative and solo exhibitions, sold from pop up shops, pop up markets, worked with schools and community groups conducting art classes and continued to build my brand with a consistent rate of producing new art and products. My preference has always been intricate detail using pen and ink with a pointillism style. Trademarks of my style are Black and White portraits, detailed patterns and geometric shapes. My slogan is 'Art on Everything', meaning that I aim to have my art seen, appreciated and owned, in as many form as possible. I have produced over a hundred products that have my art printed on them and continue to create unique Artwork and products. My goal is to create a Jon Judace Art shop, gallery and community, creative space. See more
