This is the 4th time I have dealt with Steve from Jordan Guitars and everytime he is professional very informative and a pleasure to deal with. I have sold to him bought from him and traded with him. This was another part exchange where I traded my old guitar that I no longer use for a guitar I have been longing for. The price he gave was very fair and the guitar I bought was a bargain. This is my second time dealing with Jordan Guitars. I had previously traded in a guitar which I ended up missing and decided to buy back. Ended up leaving with something much more special. Steve is a great guy to deal with, knowledgeable, down to earth and passionate about guitar. I enjoy the appointment based approach very much, as you have plenty of time to try out guitars, ask questions and chat without feeling rushed or in the way. A first class experience.

It took me a while to find Steve. Before finding him I spoke to various dealers who seemed variously fly-by-night, disinterested or obviously wanted to take advantage.

Still, selling a vintage guitar is inherently stressful. What's it worth? They're all different after all. How will we find the person that will pay what it's worth? Is the dealer trustworthy? We're talking more than a few pounds here.

Jordan Guitars? The process was smooth and transparent. We met up, had a confidence inspiring meeting and I left the guitar with him. He got a luthier to fix a couple of small issues very cheaply, did a huge amount of research, got some excellent photos taken and then marketed it.

He found a buyer who paid, in my view, a sensible price and one that more than made up for his commission whilst also shielding me from tyre kickers. The money arrived in my bank account on a Sunday afternoon.

In short, if you want to sell your vintage guitar, at least speak to Steve. He'll remove the stress, look after your instrument, market it properly and, if my experience is to go buy, find someone that will pay a sensible price for your guitar.

What a great service I had from Jordan Guitars… been checking their site out for ages looking for a LP Goldtop, like months and months for that one guitar!,, Now very proud owner of a nicely worn and lived in Goldtop. Second guitar I've bought off Steve and another great transaction. At my Mum's in Leeds on a Sat night when I spot he has a lovely CS strat so email a couple of times back and forth Sun am and he has the guitar ready for me to view by 3 pm when I'm driving past. From the pictures there were a few small blemishes but I could barely find them. Amazing condition. Plays like a dream as well so now hanging in my dining room.
