The worst seller ever.

The worst seller on all years we are buying from Auctions in Uk. It is a hard word to descripe this company as a scammer but actually is the most accurate as they sell me a vehicle with too many problems that never wrote on the description. In order to understand how unprofessional they are it was an electric vehicle and they didn't even charge it when I sent someone to collect it. So unprofessional. But the worst from all by far is that they charge too many fees and comissions that you could not imagine (to be honest I had to see it before) but it is hidden in a way so they force you later to pay. Avoid this company at any cost.

Avoid

Avoid – Hidden Charges & Rude Staff
Very bad customer service. The staff were rude and unhelpful when asked simple questions. Instead of explaining properly, they kept saying “it’s mentioned,” even when the information was not clearly advertised.
There were hidden additional charges that were not made clear upfront. The cars are not properly advertised and are not as described. When you raise concerns, they are dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would strongly advise others to avoid this auction.

Very Disappointing Experience

Very Disappointing Experience – Hidden Charges & Unprofessional Staff
I used to buy from different auctions regularly, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.
The staff were rude, untrained, and completely unprofessional in the way they spoke to customers. After winning a vehicle with a bid of £4,500, I was shocked by the constant additional charges. The first invoice was already much higher than expected. After paying that, I was sent another invoice for an additional £1,728 with no proper explanation.
As a trader, this kind of lack of transparency is unacceptable. In the end, I paid £8,200 for a car that was originally bid at £4,500.
When collecting the vehicle, they refused to provide the full logbook and only gave the green slip. The entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional.
At the very least, the auction should ensure their staff are properly trained and know how to communicate respectfully with customers. I will not be using this auction again.

£6378 on a hammer price of £3500 for a car worth £2000

Additional charges of over £1120 applied once I had paid the auction price of £3500 + £695 admin. fees. This meant I had paid an additional £1815 on the hammer price. When I collected the car, it was filled with bluemold due to rain penetration. The car had many warning lights and was in limp mode. The air conditioning and heating systems didn't work, and the timing chain needs replacing. I paid a total of £6378 for a 2017 Range Rover Evoque, which was little more than scrap

Mr Andrews,

In response to your recent review...

Firstly, All applicable fees are clearly highlighted within the 'Additional Fees Tab' - As a returning customer with iBidder.com we would certainly assume you are aware of how 'Additional Fees' are displayed.

As for the vehicle itself, Having looked into this we can confirm that the vehicle in question was entered into a 'Non Graded Sale' However, Viewing & Inspection was most welcome prior to bidding.

We would simply ask, Why did not not View or Inspect the lot prior to bidding to fully satisfy yourself.

Also to add, At the point of collection you did not express these feelings to our staff either ?

Nevertheless, Best wishes for the future.

Reminder

Reminder - avoid at all costs.
Sneaky tactics (cleverly positioned photographs & item descriptions - take a look at any of the other numerous reviews), they try to remove genuine reviews, ridiculous additional fees and even more ridiculous cancellation fees.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

STAY WELL CLEAR LEGAL SCAMMERS

DO NOT USE STEER CLEAR. LEGAL SCAMMERS.
Bid on rangerover didn't make reserve. Went out country for 10 days after a few days I realised they had dropped reserve I had won it. I called them to say ile sort it when I get back. As soon as I got back I payed them about 3.5k. Then they hit me with another 2700 for storage and late fee's ten said do you know its spare or repairs. they asked me if I want to cancel but it would cost me as much as I've payed allready and I had to do it now. That's when alarm bells rang. I left it and they were really arsy when I asked what's the total they said to late we've canceled sale and wanted another £274 for the privlage. I had payed for vehcle I just owed late fees and storage andnever said i did not want the vehcle just wanted fee's addressing. SCAMMERS. I've been on deep Web doing my research and been looking into the stretton family that run it. Interesting reading just doing a search on their personal addresses only got gingers but will have Billy's and haigs soon and post them if anybody want to try takeing direct legal action.

i wanted to add regarding this bunch of crooks. they got me to write a email to them for me to get out of the auction and this email traps me in every way to try to claim any money back. even though none runner was hidden and the millage on the van was in fact 30,000 more then they advertised the van to have. if i save one person from losing there cash to these legal fraudsters, i won a little bit. the mot was April 2025 with 119.000 miles and i bought the van on may 1st 2025 advertised with 89,000 miles. crooks and in a year or so they will close the company and start another. ibidder should do something to help. shame on them.

Mr Pitt,

Having reviewed our previous Customer list & bidder registration portal, It seems that you have never registered or bid with ourselves.

We assume that you have us confused with another Auctioneer via the iBidder or BidSpotter platform.
