Elizabeth organized an unforgettable Serengeti safari

Elizabeth organized a wonderful safari for my daughter and I visiting the Serengeti. at a great price. We started with a night in an amazing hotel in Arusha, and also received some welcome gifts of a tshirt and Masai blanket, before flying out the next morning. We were met by Luca, our wonderful guide who made our visit entertaining and very special, with unforgettable sights and sounds of Tanzania. Our accomodation was perfect! Staff attentive and helpful. And it was amazing hearing the animals close at night, and even rising fore dawn one morning to find 2 lions and 5 cubs outside our tent! A great experience from start to finish.

A life-time experience

The 8-day mid range Safari with Josh Dreamland was absolutely top! Kelvin, our driver and guide was a very kind person with a great knowledge about the animals and the nature.
The choice of the lodges was (almost) very good and we felt safe and well-treated.
We would recommend Josh Dreamland Safari to everybody who wishes a individual Safari!

Tarangire and Ngorongoro through Josh Dreamland

This was my third safari. Good information for reservation process and content of booking through Josh Dreamland. A few weeks before trip start I heard nothing so I contacted the company about how we are going to meet up etc. After one repetition of questions I got all the answers. So this they could do better, contact client when trip is coming up. I would have wanted to get more information eg about shared tour meaning other companies are involved. Eg guide was not through Josh dreamland. Guide did not give much facts during the tour, a private guide would have been more engaged maybe. Guide did engage solving a problem with our booking while on the road and was very helpful to other guides when they got caught in sandbank and even were in a car accident. Our guide drove very safely. Cooks were excellent. We saw four of the big five during the two day tour and even a cheetah so I am happy with what I saw, Tarangire was great, Ngorongoro not exactly worth all driving.

Peter and his cheetahs

We did a five day safari with Josh dreamland Safari and it was amazing.
We saw a lot of animals like lions cheetahs and even a leopard.
Our guide Peter who was such a friendly and funny guy who had a great knowledge as well, did everything to show us as many animals as possible.
The food cooked by Pascal was also great, the breakfast, lunch and diner was always fresh and tasty. Compared to other safari organizations we had even warm and fresh food for lunch while other organizations just offered lunch boxes.
All in all we had a great safari and the booking was quite easy due to the 24/7 help by Elizabeth.
My family and I can definitely recommend Josh Dreamland Safari.

Amazing welcome to Tanzania

From the very beginning of communication with Josh Dreamland Safari there was fast, clear and friendly communication with Angel. All transfers from the airport/hotel were easy and on time.

The guide who led our safari "King David" had excellent english, a great sense of humour and was exceptionally knowledgable about the native flora, fauna and general local customs and culture. Our chef was fantastic, providing delicious food, taking care of cleaning and great conversation.

The accomodation that I selected was camping 2 nights and hotel 1 night. All of the accomodation was clean, compfortable and safe. I can reccomend that you bring toilet paper and ear plugs for sleeping- although you may not always need them, they are great to have with you.

In terms of the safari and animals, this was my first safari experience and I am so glad that I chose Josh Dreamland Safari. Our guide got us very close to the animals, so that we were able to get excellent pictures - even with my average smartphone camera. We saw an incredible variety of animals, more than I expected and it was a life changing experience.

We also had the opportunity to visit a Massai village and speak with the local people about their life and culture. They were very welcoming, friendly and their singing and dancing was a privillage to see. Like many parts of Tanzania they have markets for local art for sale.

The group of women who I met in my safari group were incredible, friendly and really enriched my solo travel. For my ladt day I was provided a private driver to Materuna waterfalls, lunch and coffee experience. The transport was safe, compfortable and my guide was very friendly and knowledgable. The food was excellent and it was a highlight of my tour.

I had my birthday whilst on safari and the beautiful Angel was so kind and generous organizing a gift for me - she went above and beyond in all areas.

I highly reccomend booking a safari with this company, with much love from Australia.

Amazing safari with the Josh Dreamland Safari

I have just returned from a 7-day safari with Josh Dreamland Safari (JDS) and I had an absolutely amazing time! I can honestly say that JDS is the best! JDS has all the necessary documents like a TALA license to carry out tourism activities in Tanzania, a TIN certificate, and BRELA registration, which they can send upon request.
From the first time I contacted Elizabeth and Angel regarding the safari until the end of my trip, the communication was excellent. Every day I had a message from Elizabeth to check if I was happy with the food, accommodation, etc. during my 7-day safari, which I thought was a nice touch.
Our safari guide (Godfrey) was great. He was our safari guide for a week, cultural and language educator, animal spotter, and most importantly, our new friend. We had a lot of fun and many laughs. Godfrey had more than 15 years of experience and knew where all the animals were. We saw all of the Big Five and much more--even some rare animals.
When talking to other guests in lodges that booked through big safari companies, we had definitely seen more animals.
I visited in February during the wildebeest and zebra migration, cub, and bird season (December to March). I saw so many cute baby elephants, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and giraffes. Many birds change to bright colors to attract partners during this time.
My trip was as follows:
Day 1 - Lake Manyara NP
Day 2 - Tarangire NP
Day 3-5 - Serengeti
Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater
Day 7 - Hike to Materuni Waterfall and coffee plantation
Accommodation: We selected mid-range lodges, and all of them were different, but each was very special. If you are staying in lodges, a 40% deposit is payable and 20% if you are camping. We paid the deposit by credit card and the rest in cash when we arrived in Arusha.
Please be mindful that changes to the schedule do occasionally occur due to various reasons and feedback received from previous guests regarding the accommodation, food, etc.

Parks:
Lake Manyara National Park - small and cute but has many animals per square meter.
Lots and lots of animal sightings, too many to list. We pretty much lived in the 4x4 during game drives every day.
Tarangire NP - probably my least favorite due to very bumpy roads and fewer animal sightings per square meter, but it has pretty landscapes.
The Ngorongoro Crater was definitely a “don’t miss” park and was the only place I thought we would see a rhino. We also had a very close encounter with a few lions, large elephants, and later saw a herd of them quite close as well.
In the Serengeti, our sightings were unmatched, and in the evenings, we were serenaded every night with hyenas outside the tent. Escorts were mandatory here and for a good reason. One night I saw a large hippo munching on the grass on the walking path outside the tent.
The Materuni Waterfall hike and coffee plantation was a fun full day that I didn't want to end and say goodbye to my new friends from JDS.
I’ll end by saying one more thing I liked about Josh Dreamland Safari: the company is run by a woman (Angel) who is passionate about animals and giving back to the community. I had an absolutely amazing time in Tanzania with them and hope you will do too.

My love Jure took me on this magical adventure, he chose the agency Josh dreamland Safari and yes it is a dream to see the wilderness together. So many beautiful animals and nature that is wild and new.
Thanks to Angel, Precious our driver and the cook. Driver took good care of us, due to him we saw the big 5 but also so so many animals. We slept in tents, ate good local food and had great time. Thank you!
