Bought a car play adapter, it didn’t work. I emailed journey joy and requested a return if the adapter. They apologised and offered me £2 compensation, I declined and said I wanted to return for a full refund. They didn’t send me the return process details. They said it would cost me too much to send back to China.
They then offered me £4. Again I declined. I have spent weeks and dozens of emails of again I just the same offer. I have now reported them to my bank and will try and get my money back that way.
Do not use this company, absolute
rip off.

Feel so stupid to be scammed by these people. They should be ashamed of themselves. I am a pensioner and could not afford to loose the money I paid for the goods. One month later and no sign of the goods. Do not purchase from this site. Unfortunately there are a lot of dishonest people in the world.

Ordered Easter Dragon Eggs - 2x 6 pack for £13.99. This was apparently with their promotional 49% off discount, plus extra 10% for ordering 2 packs, plus free delivery.

What arrived was 2 single eggs, and they took £17.12 from my account. After lengthy back and forth with them initially taking no responsibility and seeming baffled by the issues raised, they offered me £2 compensation and said I could return the items... to China. They also set stringent return requirements, to be paid by me.

Knowing that this was not a financially viable option they then said - "But, if later you feel that the shipping charge is too high, and not worth it, you can keep the product, and the compensation we offered can still be made".

So, they know they can hide behind an expensive returns policy and offer meagre compensation for misleading advertising.

They eventually acknowledged that they had taken more money than they should have, blaming a ‘system error’. But rather than refund this amount immediately, they have used this as a bargaining chip to try offer me more compensation. Money that they had no right to take in the first place.

Needless to say, like so many other reviews here, I needed to go to Paypal to try and resolve. Please avoid buying anything from journey-Joy at all costs. Yes, even for the cheap and tacky stuff – as this has proven to be an expensive, stressful and time-consuming process.

Truly awful.

Ordered the cap play adaptor. Does. It work. Continually loses connection. Contacted them, initially they replied but offered £2 compensation. Went through PayPal. They offered £4 compensation. I declined. Said to send it back to a china address but wouldn’t cover postage cost as described on their website.
Waited for a a further response on PayPal and missed the deadline. So contacted them again via email and they have completely ignored several emails I have sent.
Very unprofessional company. Wouldn’t use again.

Car play USB stick. Turned up and doesn't work as described, does not work with my Car play system. Media volume sort of comes through but is crackly at best.

Tried it on Andriod and IPhone and 2 different cars no joy.

No issues I thought, took a video of the product not performing, as it should and customer service has stated it is working correctly and have offered me £3 compensation.

I have declined and just asked for a refund but they have declined to refund me stating the product is working correctly.

Shame really but won't be shopping with them anyone.

Product not as described or useable. Customer service not worth contacting. Terrible company.

I brought the dreaded Usb which is meant to work your Appleplay and it is an absolute scam. It does not work waste of time and tried to contact them. They offer me £2 when i paid nearly £15. They offered full money when I put in a final claim with PayPal but to post it back it was over £16 luckily PayPal have paid me the money back themselves. Be very wary if you buy from these people

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if possible. Tracking originally sent states it is still en route (1 month) from America. They have now sent a different tracking detail which says the item comes from Yanwen in China so obviously rubbish. This hasn’t arrived either! Complete lies. Stay away from them

As many others have said i bought a wireless CarPlay adapter and was sent a Bluetooth audio receiver, not what I paid for.
The adapter was £7.99 of a Facebook advert.
But somehow paying through PayPal the total ended up being £13.37
It said it would be shipped from America which I’m still tracking now but turned up from the UK a few days ago?
I got my money back as in a PayPal credit off my next purchase through PayPal

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering. I also ordered 2 mini car play adapters and today, after a long wait (as they were supposedly dispatched from the US, even tho a uk email address) I received 2 Bluetooth receivers not car play adapters and also neither of them worked. I have just sent an email, but after reading these reviews, I’m not holding out much hope. £15.50 down the drain. 😡
Update surprise surprise same thing has happened to me as others I got offered £5 compensation and told to have a happy life! Complete scam

AWFUL SERVICE.
Bought Apple CarPlay Wireless Adapter and was supplied with a product that DID NOT do as promised in the advert.
Sent email to request refund and told item must be returned to China (Delivered from US with .Co.Uk webpage ????) at my expense and then they MIGHT consider a goodwill gesture of a £3 refund. Goods I bought were £15.50 !!!
When I refused this offer was told £5 was highest offer they could make.
I PAID £15.50 FOR GOODS THAT WHERE NOT AS ADVERTISED.
All communications have now ceased with no resolution.
STEER CLEAR PEOPLE.

Car play adapter is different to the one advertised and it does not work and connect Appleplay.
I have complained but no answer so I am going to involve Paypal. Journey-Joy are operating a scam so avoid.

Just recently purchased car play adapter from a web site advertising uk address.
Item arrived after 18 days tracking info reported item travelling through America states .
The item was not as advertised on there .uk web site the item did not work as per there promotion Video.
This item turned to be false a load of rubbish.
The company resolution was to give me £2 back instead of the full cost of £13.37,
They then said to post item back to an address in the middle of CHINA , obviously this item never came from the USA the cost to send back would have cost me more than I paid.
Have now instigated a Paypall investigation into this company.
My appreasel of this company is DONT EVER BUY FROM THEM Should have come to this site first for other people reviews, unfortunately lesson learnt for me.

Not even deserving of a star - received car AirPlay dongle does not work emailed to ask for refund advised will refund me £3 and keep device? What? It doesn’t work then they emailed me saying send back pay fee they will test and decide if refund is gonna be paid however postage back to china is expensive ? Ordered a carplay adapter when it arrived was totally different to one in advert no carplay and wouldn't connect to my phone total con and waste of money

Stay as far away from this company as possible. You want an honest review you’re gonna get an honest review, I cannot believe PayPal supports this company online. Shame on you PayPal. Do not do the survey on PayPal for journey, they offer you a chance to win $25 but at the end of my survey. They offered me $25 in magazines. I’m so gullible I pick out my four magazines and at the end of it, they wanted me to pay eight dollars when it clearly says in big bold letters at the top of the page FREE. I don’t believe they know the definition of free because they’re not giving you anything free and they are totally overpriced. Do not push the cookies button to get on their page it just gives them a way to track you and give your information to a third-party. I would not recommend this company to anybody stay as far away as possible. Read the reviews they say it all. Rae

Item advertised as organic with only 3 natural ingredients, product has 9 ingredients, 5 of which are highly toxic.... Company offered my £2 good will gesture and said I could keep the product, the product is not fit for purpose, now they are ignoring me.... Avoid at all cost!

Absolutely disgusting takes ages to arrive they lie about were it is it has arrived and doesn’t work and they now won’t reply as ive asked for replacement or refund terrible quality terrible service should be shut down
