We were very pleased with the work to install new power outlet sockets in home office and bedrooms. It was managed with the least disruption and kept to a minimum any damaged caused where breaking through the walls to lead cables through. We thought they were excellent at clearing up afterwards.

Friendly service that made us feel that they were caring about our home. Everything for the re-wiring of our new kitchen was carried out to our expectations. It is a breath of fresh air to discover a company like this.

I wanted three chandeliers fitted to ceilings.
The two electricians called to say they had a bit of time between jobs and could do the lights now. I was still waiting for a date to be agreed so was very happy to have it done sooner.
The guys were very prompt, very polite and tidied up after themselves.

Initial work was part of 3 X bathroom re-fits, but subsequently asked for work to be done to fix an issue with electrics in the kitchen.
Both lots of work were done to a very high standard, and the guys were timely, friendly, tidy and considerate. Very pleased, and will happily got to the company again.

I contacted JP Murphy Electrical with a long list of things to be completed. John Paul arranged to come out to give a quote really quickly despite being very busy. He walked round the house noting down everything required & offered advice and recommendations. He sent the quote through promptly & then booked the job in. JP arrived with his team last week to carry out the work and I can't recommend them highly enough! Very professional, extremely hard working and a cheerful & pleasent crew. They managed to get through all the jobs in the day & left everything really clean and tidy. They walked through everything to check I was happy and explained how to operate things such as outdoor sockets/security lights. Any decisions needed they checked with me first and again offered advice which was gratefully received. We are the third couple in our family to use JP Murphy electricals & like my in laws, we highly recommend them! Thank you for excellent service & a job extremely well done!

Can thoroughly recommend J P Murphy Electrical who have just completed substantial work to our home including a complete lighting rewire, LED downlights, extra sockets, loft lighting and so much more. The whole team were very friendly and professional and did an excellent job. They were punctual, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and very easy to communicate with. The work was carried out to a high standard at a very reasonable cost.

We had a variety of work done by Jack and Gary which included a new consumer unit, new sockets and lights, removal of old wall lights and sockets and some fault finding. The team were very polite, always on time and worked incredibly hard. They ensured we knew what was going on and explained any of the more complex bits well. They kept our house tidy and made sure to clean up after the work. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We have just had all new electrical work done in the kitchen for a new kitchen fit and used J P Murphy. Their customer service and communication was excellent and the guys who did the work were always on time , polite, friendly and did a fabulous job. We would thoroughly recommend them.

Jack installed some inside sockets and a pendant light fitting. Not only did he do an excellent job but was very tidy and courteous. Would recommend the company and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

John and team completed some work at our home (rewiring, new fuse board, new sockets etc) and did a really professional job. The team who worked at the property were very respectful, cleaned up after they went. Really impressed and would get them back to do some work.

He understood exactly what I was looking for and provided a quote promptly. Once accepted my work was scheduled in and again, 2 of his team arrived on time to do the job. They did a fantastic job!!! I have recently used JP Murphy Electrical to fit some ceiling lights in our martial art studio and also fix switch and socket issues. Excellent company to deal with and the studio now looks great! Cannot recommend highly enough.

I used JP Murphy Electrical to replace my main consumer unit, many ceiling down lights and a number of other electrical jobs in our new property, having just moved to the area.
From the word go, the service was excellent, professional and friendly. The work was carried out by Jack and Gary, who were 1st class, professional, knowledgeable and polite. They cleaned up the small amount of mess created as they went along, making sure everything was back in place before they left. During the testing of the system, Jack identified a fault with the mains supply to the property, he provided me with all the information I needed to report this to SSE.
SSE were impressed with the accuracy of the information, which helped them correctly diagnose and rectify the fault very quickly.
I big thank you to all at JP Murphy Electrical, I would highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.
