My hair may not have liked the products but the products did smell nice before using.
I brought two buffs for sleep protection, I love them and they keep your hair well protected

I bought a sleep cap about a month ago and was really pleased with the soft material and comfortable fit — it’s a lovely design overall. Unfortunately, after only a few uses, the elastic ends came apart and recoiled into the seam, making it unusable.

I was advised by Katie via email to unpick the stitching and try to fix it myself, which just isn’t reasonable — especially for someone with motor difficulties. I’m genuinely sad about it because it could have been a great product, but the quality and durability really let it down. Disappointed and wouldn’t buy again based on this experience.

What an absolute gem JSL Essentials is! I've been purchasing many other products from their range, since my last review on the hair care, (which is just brilliant). The skin care - I've spent my entire life (I'm 72) searching for a skincare range I can stay with, this most certainly has to be the one and the bonus is, it's all natural, no additives 😊
I find I'm addicted to the fragrance of the diffuser oils and the anti-bac surface spray!
Bottom line - absolutely love the new packaging!

Love all the products and they smell lush! The oil is beaut can smell for days after used 🥰 products are fab for total wash or re-fresh! 🙌🏼 These were a gift and the organza bag is a lovely touch x

Great hair products for fine curly hair…. Lightweight without weighing hair down - many curl products are formulated for thick hair and are too moisturising. This isn’t the case with JSL. You can buy a small starter set to try out the whole range which originally attracted me. My favourite products which I have repurchased are the leave in cream, foam and gel. The first two are packed with protein which is great for curls and the gel has great hold. There is also a refresh spray which I use on day two onwards and also contains protein and my hair loves this.
It’s a small business (which I love to support) but honestly the products stand up to the bigger curly brands such as Innersense, treluxe, boucleme, flora and curl etc.
final point….. the smell of these products during wash day is insane…. Absolutely divine….. perfume next please!

Not only you’re going to have amazing hair, you’re going to support the most loving and giving owner I’ve ever “met.” My hair loves the foam, the leave in as a rinse out, the clarifying shampoo and gel. A little goes a long way and it’s definitely fine hair approved. The smell is so subtle but fantastic. I’ve been using these products for about a year and when I don’t use them my hair gets mad at me.

I so wanted to like these products. I bought the bag of mini products and I’ve used them about four times. Sadly it leaves my hair too soft and the curls just drop out. It’s such a shame as I love supporting small businesses and especially when the products smell so lovely. I wanted this to be my new go to range. Back to the drawing board but good luck with these beautiful products!

These hair and skin products are the best out there ,my hair is in best condition it ever been since embracing my curls also using the towel from jsl is a game changer.The skin products are the best I have had ,my mature dry skin is just loving it all from cleansing to oils to moisturiser .I highly recommend jsl and it great you can get minis to try them out so not wasting money if some product doesn't agree with you .Hurry and try them out and customer service top notch ,run by such a lovely lovely lady.I have been using products for nearly 2 years .

First products I bought were jsl foam and gel, what an amazing combination with fantastic results for my fibe curly hair. I have also bought the clarifying shampoo, gentle shampoo and conditioner which I haven't used yet, but look forward to using them. As I have so much faith in jsl I have also purchased their skincare range. Not only are their products excellent but the customer care is amazing. Highly recommend.

I've always been completely open and honest when I talk about JSL being my favourites for a full brand wash day. They're a fantastic brand and the fact the founder formulates these herself at home is just incredible! The full line works beautifully together and I get the juiciest curl clumps that last for days. They're lovely and lightweight and contain the perfect amount of protein. Also, the skincare is something I use daily and my skin is the best it's ever been. I just love this brand!!

I was struggling with my curls and decided to try a new product , JSL came up through a few feeds I done
some research and placed my first order for shampoo , conditioner, gel and hair mist I’m so glad I did the service was fab it was just when you was moving and you emailed your apologies , such great service from you and helpful with your products . I didn’t know nothing about protein being needed in hair products and I’ve had curly hair for 50+ years , your products are so good for my thin hair I enjoy using them and cut good results.

I’ve been using JSL hair and skin products since 2022 and both ranges are amazing. I have very fine curls and the haircare line is lightweight with a great balance of protein and moisture that deliver every time.
I’ve always suffered with hormonal breakouts but since switching to the JSL skincare I haven’t had a single breakout.
