Designer Judy Wu was raised in Shanghai. From the age of 5, Judy started to pursue painting which allowed her to express herself freely. Having a deep affection for art led Judy wanting to further expand her creativity into fashion design. In 2005, Judy moved to London to study Fashion Design in Womenswear at the prestigious Central Saint Martins where she graduated from in 2009. Judy then went on to work at the international fashion brands of House of Holland, Jasmine De Milo and NE•TIGER before launching her eponymous label in 2013. The creation of womenswear as a work of art is a fundamental driving force in all of Judy Wu’s collections. Every season, Judy Wu’s collections are presented in catwalk shows during London Fashion Week. Her designs are currently stocked in concept boutiques of London, Shanghai and via online. The brand has received prominent coverage in WGSN, Harper’s BAZAAR China, Tatler, Glamour, Stella Magazine, Cosmopolitan, SELF China, InStyle.co.uk, Nouvelles d’Europe, Drapers whilst her latest collections are presented on Vogue.com.
