Do not download this app. I tried Jumpspeak for 4 days and realized it wasn't for me. I cancelled my trial through my iPhone settings well within the time limit, yet they still hit my card for a full yearly subscription. Now, there is no record of my cancellation in the app, and I’m having to fight a credit card dispute just to get my money back. Predatory billing practices and a mediocre app. Stay away!
Just appreciate that my email was answered in a very timely manner.

DON’T DO IT . Not that much different from duo and the 100 day money back promise … rubbish ! Have followed instructions ( once I’d found them ! ) e mailed 4 times and nothing back . No contact whatsoever . Like most on line stuff these days they are all smiles and promises until they get your cash and then no customer service at all .
The big advantage that you have over other language tutoring companies is the interactivity. I really appreciate that you record my voice and give feedback on that, because if I mispronounce some words I may not be understood by Japanese people. (I'm 4th generation American of Japanese descent). Also, if you correct my grammar and make suggestions that's big.

At this moment, I'm only six days into the program and it took a bit of time for me to become adjusted to their learning technique and lesson rhythm but once you do, it's extremely user friendly - much more so than any other learning programs I tried - and I tried several!

Sean and his team reacted very quickly to rectify my mistake by enrolling on a language course 3 times....

Disappointing. I was persuaded to try Jumpspeak because it promised to get me speaking French. So I signed up, reassured by the money-back guarantee. Well, unfortunately I really didn't get on with it - it's very AI and unnatural. The images are unrelated to the text, the structure is confusing, answer choices bizarre and it did not encourage conversational French! As I was registering/paying for Jumpspeak (£45), I was suddenly asked if I wanted Masterclass for an additional £29 which appeared to (again) be about conversations. I agreed, feeling that my money-back guarantee was still valid. Turns out, it wasn't! I couldn't even access Masterclass and I certainly wasn't enjoying the regular sessions of Jumpspeak so I asked for a refund. I had to ask a few times before they agreed to pay back £45 and told me my time had run out for Masterclass - even though they were both bought at the same time. No, I wouldn't recommend.
Lately I’ve had a real interest in learning Spanish, and I’ve seen them multiple sponsored advertisements on Facebook about Jumpspeak.
Like me, you’re probably always leery about clicking ads and signing up for things on social media, however, I went ahead and did so.
The process was simple, and I had a couple of technical issues that I needed help with, and the people at Jumpspeak were very quick to get back to me, with multiple emails, and they did everything they could to make sure my experience was as positive as possible and Matt all of my expectations.
Thank you Jumpspeak for your quick action and satisfactory results. Well done.

It’s better than Duolingo.
But still has a lot to improve. Some lessons you have no idea what it’s asking for. Better than nothing. not worth the app price even at 70% off.
The customer service at jumpspeak has been unusually helpful and courteous in resolving a difficulty. It has been a pleasure dealing with jumpspeak.

I have used the app in 2025 , great concept. However; had some challenges with the AI voice recognition. May have improved since then.

I didn't like Jumpspeak so unsubscribed and removed the app in November 2025. I was still charged in January 2026 and am very annoyed.
I've submitted a claim for reimbursement to Google playstore.
Early days but my learning has been reenergised by Jumpspeak’s methods. I’ve tried various other platforms and JS hits the sweet spot of audio and speaking modes. Also taken advantage of the special offer discount! Very responsive CS when dealing with a minor payment blip. Thanks Jumpspeak!!
Do not subscribe because they will not send out any reminders before your renewal plan is up and will just deduct it automatically. I wrote in and asked for a refund and they refused even though I have not been using the app ever since I downloaded it because there is always a glitch in the pronunciations and it doesn’t serve any purpose after a while because the lessons are not engaging.
Very appalling customer service and after sales support. They just want you rip you off your money without notifying you. It’s daylight robbery!
