While staying in Dorset recently we visited the Jurassic Coast Farm Shop. The service and produce were outstanding. 5 Stars!! We purchased several cuts of meat and were given expert advice on cooking it. We wish that all meat tasted this good. The Rib Eye steak was out of this world, the very BEST that we have ever tasted. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Can’t fault it will not be going back to chewy supermarket meat the taste difference is remarkable. Following health kick after lots of research looked for local farm that produces grass fed meat. Get the Jurassic beast every 8 weeks and veg shop every week. Produce always fresh and well packaged. The delivery service is great as we live in Dorset. Like the human touch if there is a problem call the admin quickly rectified

I've used the same recipe for slow cooker braised short ribs for about 20 years and have always ended up with beautiful fall-apart meat. I'd had steaks from Jurassic Coast Farm Shop in the past and they'd always been very good; I can't say the same for the short ribs. As soon as I opened the pack I was a bit worried. There were two huge ribs and I wondered straight away if they'd cook in the time so I allowed an extra hour. This was nowhere near enough time - after an extra FOUR HOURS they were still as tough as old boots and I ended up shredding them like I would pulled pork. Fortunately, some ox cheeks I had going in the other slow cooker was ready on time for the family dinner.

Delivery was I er 2 hours late, even though I was a new customer, all the produce was poor quality including vegetables and fruit, well past sell by date not enough variety, gave me so much ginger which I dident order, no carrots , meat was tough chewy and old, felt this was deliberate to fob of on me as I'm single, don't recommend , some cheese was okay, generally poor quality

We've been shopping from here for a couple of years. Today I cooked 2.3kg King Arthur's Roast. On the advice of Sam, 220 degrees for 10 mins, then 140 degrees for 3.5 hours. My 82 year old dad, said it was the best piece of beef he's had in years. It was tasty, moist and moorish. Accompanied with usual veg and celeriac and parmesan gratin. They also do fabulous cheese you won't find in a supermarket. Highly recommend!

I just enjoy cooking so much more now that I'm buying from Jurassic Coast. Everything I buy is fantastic and I daren't waste a single ingredient by not putting the effort in. Honesty, the food quality is so undeniably better that it has created a huge spark of passion for cooking.

Delivered on time, well packaged, quality meat produce. We won't be going back to supermarket produce again, it's good to know how and where our meat is processed and support local farmers 👍😊

Excellent produce, the lamb mince is tasty, the lamb stew packs were marvelous and I hope the noisettes will be the same.

Bought the Beef Box, bbq pork ribs and some beef short ribs. I am so happy with the quality of everything as always. The Beef Box in particular is great value

Great service, meat is amazing

Lovely meat and such a treat to have a coeliac diet catered for. Their Gluten Free sausages and sausage meat are so good. No fat whatsoever. The fish is really good too.

Almost 5 stars but box needed more cooling packs only 2 when I think 4 was needed. When opening I did not feel contents were quite cool enough and included chicken. In freezer immediately and used in 2 weeks as a bit concerned.
Meat was great but really feel more Ice packs needed when using Postal delivery.

Lovely tasting meat, every purchase in terms of weight was more than I ordered, so nothing not to be happy about, you pay for 300g and get 400g happy days, delivery was good and well chilled on arrival, I can recommend the Lamb chops and Cumberland sausages, both products so tasty, not tried the rest yet but everything looks delicious and packed to go straight in your freezer, second time I've used Jurassic coast farm shop, both occasions brilliant, I'm now spoilt, I will always be demanding top class tasty meat, which this is, happy with their prices so nothing stopping me ordering again, great quality/good prices/perfect delivery, definitely recommend this farm shop.

Your meat is second to none, always lovely. Vegetables are fresh and large. I did have to check the order before I left and found I was missing a pack of sausages which was remedied as soon as it was highlighted
