Buyer beware
Buyer beware! I wish I'd checked out these reviews before booking. I decided to use Park With Me last-minute, the day before flying, as it was relatively cheaper, at £78 for meet and greet and one week's parking, than the extortionate official Gatwick parking, which was going to cost £150 for the same period.
Alarm bells rang when I booked and the payment was processed, but I received no booking confirmation email. So, I printed out the web confirmation form.
The person I called when 30 mins from the airport for someone to meet me couldn't find my booking, but told me to go the designated meeting point anyway. I had to pay the £6 parking charge and wait 25 mins for them to arrive, which was okay, but not great.
On my return, knowing they took a while to meet me on the outbound leg and that I had no luggage to collect, I rang as soon as my flight landed. I was told somebody would drop my car off within 30 mins. However, I had to wait 100 mins for my car to arrive! Another couple waiting with me had to wait even longer. We both rang multiple times for updates and were fobbed off each time with the answer that our cars were on their way and they'd be there in the next 5 mins. When I said that was rubbish because it was the third time I'd been told this, they hung up on me.
When my car finally arrived it was covered in mud. The driver I spoke to said it had been kept in a field two miles away - hardly a 100-minute drive away, even in early morning rush hour - and that they only employed two drivers to do the pick-ups and drop-offs. He also said the drivers got the same treatment as the customers from the telephone operatives, who were regularly rude and hung up on him. I'm sure he'd also been on the receiving end of a lot of abuse from very irate customers who'd been treated as badly as me and the couple I waited with, judging by the other reviews here. Avoid this company at all costs.
