Customer service is s***. Despite telling immediately of putting the wrong address their response was just to call the courier service and ask them to change myself which isn't helping us at all. They also made you unable to cancel it and making you pay regardless of what.

Became aware of the brand after seeing it featured on both US & UK Vogue's website & thought one of their bags would make a great present for my 21 yr old niece. Was concerned about making a purchase after reading the reviews but decided to throw caution to the wind & give it a go. Placed order for a black moc croc Eva bag on a Sunday evening for UK delivery, recieved dispatch notification on Tuesday & delivered by Friday .. No issues. Packaging was great, kids love a box & dust bag. Bag was as described, well made, good value for money. Very happy with the overall experience & product.

My story is the same as everyone…

one one 82Very cheap quality product I received 2 cheaps polyester sloppily printed blouses, not embroidered and one was the completely wrong item. They said to keep them and they would issue a coupon. Their blouses are crap. I asked them for the return address by email no response to my email i went on their help page and i was able to get their help number which is finally i get my full refund on my order All this is done, and now, I don’t hear back from the company.

I had an issue with a lost delivery and so contacted Customer Service. They immediately responded and when it was determined that my order had been lost, they replaced it and expedited its delivery to me within 10 days. They could not have been more helpful or responsive and I would highly recommend both the products and the service.

I’ve been having this bag from JW PEI for about 1.5 year. The quality and design is amazing. I use it every day and my bag still looks like new.

I purchased 4 bags from JW Pei - the Gabbi bag in 3 colours & the Eva bag - prior to reading these reviews. Once I saw these reviews, my bags were already on their way and I was worried I’d just dropped almost $300 on a dropshipping company. I was pleasantly surprised when my bags arrived, not only because I was happy they’d arrived at all, but the quality was spectacular. Everything is engraved with the brand name - the outside of the bag, the hardware and the pockets on the inside. Each bag comes in its own box and a satin, branded dustbag. I’m looking forward to purchasing from here again.

This was my first time ordering at JW PEI, and it was a good experience for me. I was hesitant at first to order because of the reviews I read online about them. However, I saw some YouTube reviews as well, and their bags seemed to match what they order; as well as their general tone of being satisfied with their purchase. In the end I couldn’t resist, so I decided to order their Maze bag.

To start, shipping took about 20 days to arrive from China to Canada. On my order it stated that it would take 25-30 days; so I was happy that it came a bit earlier than the estimated timeframe.

The quality of the product in my opinion was great! The bag’s leather material is super soft, and surprisingly there was little to no smell. The bag came in a marble printed box with JW PEI written; a silk-like duster bag which also has the JW PEI logo; and the bag was wrapped in tissue paper. Overall, I liked how well packaged it was.

Most reviews stated that their online customer service wasn’t good, so I was really hoping that that wouldn’t be the case for me. This is because I was tracking my order through the Shop App, and there were 10 days that my item didn’t move since it arrived in Canada. That got me worried as I read that in some reviews their item didn’t come, and they couldn’t tracking it with their local postal services either. Thankfully, a representative replied the next day that the bag has arrived, and it will be delivered soon. The only odd thing was that, I was given a different tracking number when they emailed me back. The first tracking number I got stilled worked, but it would always be 2 days late to get updated; compared to the new tracking I got from customer services. This was the only issue I had, and why I’m giving 4 stars.

Would I buy from JW PEI? My answer would be yes! Tracking was kind of stressful but I got my order in the end, and I’m pleased with it 😊

I buy two bags I ugly I return , email them ask return address , they give address I paid myself mail back by ups , and wait two months they don’t refund me my money , I email back they said didn’t revive packages.
I have been online shopping over 10 years ! Fist time meet this situation !

Dropshipped garbage. The product is "fine" but I paid more thinking it was an American company (paid for shipping too) and it took 60+ days to arrive. TLDR: Just go straight to Aliexpress or support a small business on Etsy.

I’ve waited 57 days so far for the arrival of 2 bags & 2 wallets from this supposedly LA based ethical company just to realize that they use the most incompetent shipping company of all time from CHINA! At this point I’ve contacted customer service twice and just want my money back! This company is a scam!

Worst customer service ever. The item does not look like on the amazing pictures they take, it is washed and the colour differs. They only informed me that even though my shipping cost was from the UK before, now I am supposed to pay 39 GBP to ship the product to the US... It is so not transparent. Additionally, the company makes it very very hard to return anything. Watch out... They might scam you...

I ordered the Ivory Eva bag. First of all, the bag ships from China, not LA. I'm in CA and it took over a month to arrive. The bag looks cheap and the zipper doesn't even zip up all the way. Also, from their pics online the bag looks more white. It's actually more of a tan/beige color. Not even going to bother returning it since they require shipping costs to be paid. Don't waste your money on the Eva bag.

I saw online about delivery times to the UK after I had placed my order and saw they stated it would take up to 20 days. It arrived 3 days after ordering, and in perfect condition. The only thing I would say is the gold hardware is a little bright, would have been nicer if it had more of a champagne gold tone. Will definitely be ordering other bags though!

I ordered a bag and changed my mind immediately on the colour. I emailed them and contacted them on social media and no one responded, when they did they said it was too late and my delivery was already on route (FROM CHINA). I waited for my bag to arrive and contacted them immediately asking to refund. They said I had to pay full postage to america to return my bag which is 60% of what I paid for the bag in the first place. If you are going to operate on a global scale you need support that with ability to return items at a reasonable cost, if not free.

Really not okay

First of all despite my rating I'm very happy with the bag. It was exactly the design and color I was searching for since a while. Other designs are great as well. So if it was only that, they would get a solid 5.

The reason of my review however is that I don't think the company is transparent AT ALL. They claim to be a LA based company founded by a designer couple but they ship from China. I only discovered that fact at the arrival of the package. It is written nowhere on the billing neither on their website. I've only found the info there.

Not that I'm naive but how can a company so easily lie with their image? These are probably made in China. I highly doubt the "vegan, eco friendly" label as well.

I love my bag! I have bought a couple of JW Pei bags second hand. I couldn't find the one I wanted (the black croc Carly bag) second hand, so I decided to treat myself. I love the other two bags that I have from this company. The black material is quite shiny, it's very different to any other bags I own, but that's what I like about it. The product came as described, packaged wonderfully. I am really pleased with both the product and the service!

Beautiful bags and great quality! I am super happy and i get a tons of compliments from my friends for the bags. I can really reccomend!

Well , i am happy with the bag ! its so trendy and the quality is good , The packaging is so elegant i loved it. I don't know why alot compare the bag's quality to Ali express , its definately better and i got the bag for a very good price ( the big one for 99$ and the mini one for like 59$ ) and they look very cool together ! Maybe the colors are a bit darker IRL. I would say the quality is close to Kurt geiger's ? My only issue is that the shipping company they use is really bad , they took like 2 weeks to get the bag out of customs :/ Otherwise , its worth a try

Happy with my purchase. Have to wait a little long, but that's ok.
