Wonderful school
We have a great experience with the school . The teachers are wonderful and warm, resourceful and supportive . Let’s say you have a kid that hates reading his lessons and it’s hard to complete. Our science teacher for example created a part 2 after the main tests that must include these notes for each lesson . It’s easy and super conductive as the kid fills out his notes like missing words through the lesson forcing in an easy way to read and create understanding of what’s he working with . This way he learns to take notes, reads, builds understanding and passes his classes . Our kid struggles with anxiety and ADHD like most kids out there and getting off those games . Despite these challenges K12 brings peace to our life as my kid logs on to that computer to learn not to game . They even use some games to get kids excited about learning with their Zone recess application where kids meet and play and learn more guided by teachers or supervised. Use parental controls for other to keep them engaged on school and you’re set. K12 has clubs like national honor society , guitar, cooking and many more. All you have to do is sign them up and start soaring and find peace and safety in your child’s schooling compared to public schooling . If you live in Texas K12 is an accepted private school by state of Texas TEA and you even might be able to get a voucher to pay for your school starting 26-27 school year . Highly recommend this school and we love our teachers for my boys Andre and Matthew.
Hope you choose K12 well love to have more friends in our classes for our boys .

Right School For Our Student
We've been at K12 Private Academy for 4 years. The style of learning is perfect for my student, and he is accelerating in a way he couldn't in a more traditional classroom. The flexibility of the deadlines, multiple methods of help from the teachers and a challenging curriculum all have made this the right choice for our family.

The teachers, the curriculum A+
The teachers, the curriculum, the flexibility, the materials(books, art) everything is well thought out. I love this school and the great impact it has made on our son. We have been here for the past 4 years. We still love how they're constantly improving, including the clubs and socialization they offer for the kiddos.

highly recommend
I like that my child can learn independently or with a group! i also like that they’re not stuck learning something they already know, they can always jump ahead! there is still a lot of structure to their day which is important to me.

Kindergarten through Grade 12 @ K12 school review
1. We love the teachers! Teacher quality each and every year K through 12 has been fantastic!
Ms. Heidi G. our first year inspired us to sign up annually through lower, middle and high school!
2. We love the grade reporting transparency! Rubrics and feedback is amazing! Required work listed is awesome!
3. We do not like the college application support. That process was very very complicated, overwhelming and time consuming. It was all new to us. We had a new college advisor mid year and zero connection was established. There was zero communication about the transition between people. Example: student wanted to apply to colleges in Canada no one told us that Calculus was required. Had to register for it to be on the transcript before Pre-calculus was completed. Another example- student took 2 years of Chinese language (one of our favorite teachers) and then the school did not offer a third year of that language. Most colleges require 3 years of the same language. K12 only requires 2 years to graduate. A good college prep department would have known this to best guide students who are college bound.
4. We do not like the re-enrollment process - too many phone calls annually- slow improvement there since Kindergarten. Always a new person unfamiliar with the fact we are a returning family.
5. Email communication is overwhelming. Perhaps Teacher conferences would be a thing to improve on? Like the old “parent /teacher/ student-style conferences” of bricks & mortar schools- but virtually. Twice a year? Maybe October - welcome - to start and January check in? Perhaps “If the grade is below an 80 it should be required?”
6. Registrar is super helpful! Payment department is super helpful!
7. I asked the student if he has any favorite teachers in the 13 years experience. He mentioned Kindergarten Ms. Heidi G. He remembers her sharing pics of barrel racing horses. He mentioned his 8th grade Math teacher who taught about percent, but could not remember a name. And he mentioned his Chinese 1 & 2 teacher- he really wanted a third and fourth year with her. I would add he enjoyed his electives in Technology. It was Pam Dooley who inspired him to choose Computer Science as a field to study in college.

Truly positive learning experience
My child and I had a truly positive experience with K12PA . Their teaching style was clear, engaging, and well-structured. They demonstrated a deep knowledge of the subject and were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure students understood the material.
What stood out most was their patience and encouragement—they created a supportive learning environment where questions were welcomed and learning is always enjoyable. Their feedback backs are always constructive and timely, which helped him improve steadily over time.
Overall, [K12PA] had a significant impact on my child's learning journey, and he feels more confident and inspired because of their guidance.

Best decision made.
This is our second year with K12 Private Academy. My child is in 1st grade and we’ve had the best experience the curriculum is wonderful and teachers are so hands on and attentive to students needs. The flexibility of the lessons and class connects are refreshing. Love we can go at our own pace. Best decision our family made.I do wish though French was available as my daughter enjoyed that very much.

Great online school
We have loved online school for the last 7 years with my daughter who is graduating high school this year and now my son will be going for the next 12 years. I love that K12PA has a great curriculum and great teachers so far. The website is easy to navigate and if there is ever a problem or question we know who to go to to get our answers. My son can work at his own pace and not feel rushed to do his work. I would recommend K12PA to those who need this type of schooling.

We have used K-12 for 5 years and this…
We have used K-12 for 5 years and this year was so disappointing! There was a complete lack of communication and after expressing my concerns, I've been completely ignored. We will be moving on to another program and it's very sad because we enjoyed K-12 before it changed so drastically.

K12 is outstanding!
The flexibility, options and outstanding staff K12 offers were absolutely what my son needed when public school in person was no longer providing a positive learning environment. We have had nothing but an amazing experience!
