Bought the weighted blanket a while back due to insomnia as I found it hard to sleep on constant night shifts during covid but the weighted blanket had me asleep in minutes after putting it on

I bought my blanket to try to help me sleep, I must admit, it took a while, but I am sleeping a bit better now, well worth the money

Absolutely love the blanket!! I’ve put my duvet away, as I like nothing more than sleeping with the blanket! I sleep so much better than I did without it… I would like it to be a little heavier as I prefer a stronger pressure, but the weight is still very soothing.

Love my weighted blanket. Won’t be without it now even in the heat of summer. Definitely recommend

I bought a 4kg one originally but found it too light for me, returned it and reordered the 6.8kg one, the whole process was flawless, they were very accommodating, and my new blanket that I’ve had for about 6 months has made my sleep so much better since my fiancé died, it feels like I’m being still cuddled at night. The covers are so comfortable and easy to clean and put back. Clearly high quality too as you read other reviews of cheaper blankets where the beads move

The blanket with its free next day delivery arrived 4 days later after many fruitless conversations with the Koala team and the delivery company.

When the blanket arrived, I noticed an instant difference to my previous blanket. Despite weighing it and finding it to be the right weight it did not swaddle me with the same pressure as my previous blanket.

As a recently graduated occupational therapist I understand the science behind the product, but I also understand that sensory responses vary drastically from each person. This blanket was not suitable for me as my body responds more strongly to the feeling of the weight. This blanket is designed to feel lighter which is great but not suitable for my personal needs.

I've also found the blanket can still run hot despite the cool side of the blanket, and because this side of the blanket is slick, I found that despite the ties the blanket keeps slipping down inside the cover and needs to be fixed constantly.

Having to pay return postage was a disappointment as other companies offer free returns but the return was acknowledged and money refunded almost instantly which was a pleasant change from the 4 day wait that companies usually work with.

I reached out to the company to explain that I was disabled and they allowed me to return the blanket after the 30 day return period as a goodwill gesture. I feel the company redeemed themselves with good service in the end.

The website advertises the blanket with next day delivery but my order was delayed by weeks as product out of stock. No one bothered to even let me know until I messaged them to enquire.
The blanket is okay but I did not like the cover. Also the 6.8kg felt kind of light.
In order to make a return you need to:
- put an extra note in
- pay for your own shipping
- send using tracked service and send them tracking number.
After all that the disclaimer is: You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
In short, they make it very hard for you to return the item and so most people might end up keeping it instead.
The largest size is also smaller than I would have liked. Avoid this company at all costs, there are many other companies that do weighted blankets.

Perfect blanket

Had for over a year still looks bran new and an amazing night sleep every time I use

Loved the bamboo double sided cover but unfortunately it didn’t feel like a 6.8kg. It felt too light (a bit heavier than my regular duvet) plus weight was unevenly distributed. Maybe the stitching is too spread out, I don’t know. The fact that you have to pay for shipping to return it as well was very disappointing. Sorry Koala, this time you get a 2.5 x

Ordered a blanket from another company that was too heavy. They didn’t have a lighter one without long waiting time, so ordered from Koala and so glad I did! Love my blanket, super soft, perfect weight, and it arrived really quickly! Recommended.

Absolutely love my blanket!!! Although there was a slight issue with delivery times, the product is well worth the wait, customer service was excellent and I would definitely recommend.
