Worst trip ever. Very unprofessional. The airline cancelled the flight one month back and they had no information. They kept us stranded at airport and we had to bear 23000 rs extra. They argued at airport saying kamaha is not at fault as the airline cancellation mail went to spam folder. Never book through Kamaha vacation just to save 15 thousand or so. You will regret. So book through standard travel agencies.

⭐ 1 Star – Never book through Kamaha Vacations

We booked our Vietnam honeymoon package through Kamaha Vacations, and our experience was extremely disappointing.

Our return flight, Thai Vietjet Air VZ 770 from Bangkok to Kolkata, scheduled for 13 May 2026, was cancelled, but Kamaha did not inform us in advance. We came to know about it only after reaching the airport and immediately contacted Kamaha. Vietjet personnel at the airport told us that all Bangkok–Kolkata flights had been cancelled around a month earlier and that the cancellation information had been emailed to the concerned travel agency around a month ago. However, Kamaha had not informed us.

When we contacted Kamaha from the airport, their representative said the flight was still showing as “confirmed” in their system. We were later verbally told that the airline communication had allegedly been missed because it went to their spam folder.

We were awake and dealing with the situation throughout the whole night. Kamaha did not arrange a suitable alternative flight on their own; we suggested the Bangkok–Bhubaneswar option ourselves. The alternate flight cost around ₹25,000. After repeated requests for around 1–2 hours, Kamaha agreed to contribute ₹10,000, but only after we confirmed by email that the ₹10,000 airline refund would be taken/adjusted by Kamaha. We therefore had to pay ₹15,000 from our own funds.

The airline subsequently refunded ₹10,75 after two months, out of which Kamaha retained/adjusted ₹10,000, leaving only ₹700 to us. We also incurred ₹4,214 train expense and ₹3,000 cab cancellation charges, making our direct additional expenses ₹22,214. The airline also provided THB 2,000 travel vouchers; when we asked Kamaha for cash instead, we were told these could not be converted to cash and could only be used by us.

Despite multiple follow-ups, around 2 months later Kamaha proposed ₹5,700 from Kamaha + ₹700 airline refund + THB 2,000 vouchers, which we did not accept. We proposed ₹15,000 cash to settle the matter amicably, but Kamaha stated that their proposal would be treated as full and final settlement.

During our discussions, the owner spoke to us in a manner we found extremely disappointing. We were told words to the effect that “we cannot do anything now, you have to arrange everything yourself” — with no stay, no alternate flight and no other immediate assistance. We were also told that they could have simply not picked up our call and that missing the airline email was not their mistake because “it can happen to anyone.”

I was also subsequently removed from the WhatsApp group used by Kamaha for our trip coordination and communication.

The issue is not simply that the airline cancelled a flight. The major issue is Kamaha's failure to communicate the cancellation in time and their lack of timely assistance when we were stranded at the airport, resulting in financial loss, an entire night of disruption, stress and inconvenience.

Based on our experience, I strongly advise others to think twice before booking an international trip through Kamaha Vacations. I personally would never book through Kamaha again.

We recently booked a customized family trip to Delhi and Agra through Kamaha Vacations. We had a delightful experience in planning this perfect plan with Ankita Ji. She managed to book rooms from Hotel Surya , Delhi and Taj convention, Agra within short notice of us with Sensible cost. We visited Taj Mahal Night view on full moon day with proper guidance. In simple, we had a hassle free and kids friendly trip with them .
