We are a children's tuition agency based in South London with a focus on KS1-KS3 education. We support our students with core Maths and English skills and examination preparation as well as offering a range of other subjects including modern languages, science and yoga lessons. We place emphasis on building meaningful relationships with every family we work with, understanding that the tutor-student rapport is key to successful learning. We always want our students to feel comfortable and confident in their lesson time. We also want to give children the tools to understand how to guide their own learning, assisting them in developing natural intellectual curiosity and emotional resilience.

We have had a fantastic experience with Kamakala Kids House and specifically our son’s tutor, Chris.
Chris has been working with our son for three years, and has helped enormously with his English, maths - and some Spanish! All teachers at school have noticed an improvement.
Chris is exceptionally patient and makes every session enjoyable. Even if the session started off with my son being tired, from a full day at school - he would always come out of the lesson with Chris energised!
Our son is now much more confident at school , thanks to these 1-1 sessions.
I would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a tutor.
Jenny has been fantastic too - always very quick to respond to each and every query. Thanks so much.

I highly recommend Emily from Kamakala Kids House. We availed of Emily’s tutoring services to prepare our daughter for the 4+ assessments in the Dulwich schools. Emily established such a lovely rapport with our daughter and made the tutoring sessions so enjoyable and educational. I, as a parent, learned so much from Emily and I really appreciated her comprehensive feedback after every session. Thank you Emily for preparing us so well for the 4+ assessment and helping us get that offer, we so desired!

We had such a good experience with this company.
Jenny got back to me in good time with options for us to choose from. She arranged for our online tutor to come to us for the first session face to face, and she was friendly and fair in all dealings.
Our tutor - Mimi - is just the best. She was so genuine and encouraging to our son. She did such a great job of engaging him and teaching him - being so patient when he was struggling to apply the skills she had taught him to timed practise.
We have secured a place for our son through the 9+ exams, and I honestly don't think we would be saying that if we hadn't received Mimi's tutoring.

Anas was brilliant with boosting confidence, skills and breaking down Maths challenges in an easy and fun way. Would highly recommend their support for any age group!

During our time in London, Kamakala became a key part of our kids learning and growth during primary school and in the school breaks. We first found the camp and was so impressed by the high quality tuition that the kids surprisingly LOVED, but supported really well by creative environments and amazing activities that really helped develop other skills like cooking. We returned to camps a number of times, and we then also engaged Anas to come to our home once a week and tutor the kids in person. This was a great help as they were moving into the later primary years and we wanted some additional support, Anas became a happy part of our Friday evening that both kids enjoyed, and we were sad to say farewell when we left London last year. Highly recommend to all

I highly recommend this tutorial agency. Jenny and her team of tutors are very knowledgeable, supportive and professional. We have used them over many years, initially to help with gaps after lockdown but in more recent years to help my children progress with their learning and secure places in new schools.
Anas & Anita were both so patient and supportive. Sessions were well planned and really helped with building confidence and giving my children useful tactics and guidance in dealing with assessments and tricky questions.
They both created wonderful environments for the kids to learn, their approach was carefully thought out and made learning fun which certainly helped with my 7 year old.
Additionally Jenny & the team are very responsive to emails etc and admin for payment is very easy.
Over I would highly recommend KKH

We have been extremely impressed with the quality of teaching and level of care provided by Kamakala Kids. Our daughter Riya has got enormous support from the club for her 7+ preparation. From the outset, the club organizer Jenny took the time to understand Riya’s individual learning needs, areas for development, and goals. Based on this, they prepared genuinely personalised materials tailored specifically to her level—something that truly set them apart from other tutoring clubs we have tried.
The teachers are consistently diligent, thoughtful, and warm in their approach, creating an environment that is both academically rigorous and encouraging. In particular, I would like to thank Anas, who later became Riya’s creative writing tutor. His guidance has been outstanding, helping her develop confidence, structure, and creativity in her writing!
Overall, the level of customisation, professionalism, and genuine commitment to each child’s progress goes far beyond what we have experienced elsewhere. I would highly recommend this school to any parent seeking high-quality, personalised academic support.

Kamakala kids camp is a very nurturing environment. Both my daughters have gotten a lot out of it! We find it the perfect way to ease them back in to learning before school starts.
It is structured but fun!

Anas has been superb from start to finish - I cannot say enough good things about him and his approach. We have been working towards exams to secure a spot for our daughter at senior school and after several tuition sessions and some hard work alongside that from our daughter in preparation, I am pleased to share that we were successful. Anas clearly cares a great deal about his students, is very accommodating and organised with scheduling and structured in his approach to learning but in a way that makes it fun and appealing to the student. He also wrote an incredibly detailed and heartfelt reference letter for Cora which was beyond the call but made a difference. We genuinely feel like we have a partner in Anas - Kamakala are lucky to have him!
Kamakala also have made it very easy in terms of payment and scheduling so kudos to them too.

Both our children had a fantastic time at the October Half Term Club. They really seemed to thrive across such a short time and we saw them grow in confidence as well as improvements in their learning. They enjoyed the tutoring sessions (no complaining at all!) and loved the afternoon sessions which were really varied and fun. We were happy they were in a safe an nurturing environment and will most definitely be booking for future holidays. The kids asked if it could be their normal school and were very disappointed to hear it couldn't!

We had a wonderful experience with Kamakala Kids House. Our daughter's maths tutor, Crystal, was brilliant -- expert, organised, responsible, built a great relationship with our daughter and really boosted her confidence in the subject, we couldn't have asked for anything better.

We loved our time with Kamakala House, it was a really great experience. Everyone was so caring & kind, we are sad to be leaving but we are moving country very soon. Our children had Anas as a tutor and we couldn't have asked for a better person. He is great with kids and made great progress with our two, especially as they both have dyslexia. We are impressed with how well they are doing.
My daughter loves KKH. Great range of activities, small numbers in the groups and a good mix of ages in a beautiful setting

Jenny is amazing and comes highly recommended! She did a crash course for my son over the summer to cover 2 years worth of syllabus to get him up to 7+ standards, and it was super important as he was at school in UAE!
She is kind and compassionate, and yet a firm and wonderful teacher! We love Jenny ❤️

Jenny is a fantastic tutor, role model and really tunes into each child. Her calmness not matter what is admirable and helps us stressed out parents and also the child really helps support the children. I have watch her grow from one to one to Kamakala kids and I think the service is exceptional. My boy is so creative and literally did not want to spend the weekend/holidays with us as the range of activities were so fun that he didn’t notice the morning work ‘can I go to Jenny’s school?’ is a constant ask in this house. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Jenny was the most wonderful tutor for our son at 10+
She immediately understood him as a person and as a learner and was able to encourage him and stretch him.
As well as preparing him for the exams she also engaged him in interesting conversation and in higher level thinking.
I loved hearing gales of laughter coming from the room in which they were working!

Jenny is a great boss and working as a tutor with the Kamakala Kids House team was lovely! She cares deeply about each child and tutor that she works with. The approach to teaching at KKH is a joy for students and tutors alike; encouraging and fun whilst still challenging and effective.

Jenny and her fabulous team of tutors really helped my son focus and improve his comprehension and math skills but most importantly helped him build his confidence in his ability to face tricky questions using neat little tips and tricks to tackle them. He has enjoyed his tutoring immensely (never complained or didn’t want to go) and I think this is largely down to the care and encouraging, with even some fun thrown in, style of the tutors! Big thanks for your help to get him through his 9+ exams!!
