Buyer beware additional costs to UK

Put in an order for £173. No where on the site did it advise that fed ex would charge & import tax would be applied! Fed Ex want £54 to release at customs which i think maybe a scam? Same price on Amazon but went direct to support seller and for more variety. It would have cost zero extra has have prime! BUYER BEWARE!.. NO PRODUCTS ARE WORTH that much extra. First time ever this has happened to me. Got no idea if I would receive refund if I refused to pay & worried about being scammed.
Update: Apparently not a scam but extortionate fees & items held to ransom. Nowhere at point of payment is this advised and £0 for shipping & tax.

Fed Ex lost package.

Contacted Kamenskaya customer service . Issue resolved with a gift included in package. Look forward to using product.
