dirty water from shirt

purchased five shirts. hand washed a gray shirt and water turned dirty brown. also left black stains on sink. called company and response was 'very interested, will check it out, very concerned'. sent pics of water and stains. two days later, no response. called and was told hadn't gotten to emails yet. meanwhile, hand washed a second shirt, black in color. also created dirty brown water. six days later and still no response from company. not sure what is on these shirts and with poor customer service, returning shirts.
