Worse service you can get
I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I scheduled a meeting specifically to get tax advice tailored to my situation and a contract I had shared in advance. Naturally, I expected the advisor, Mohammad, to review the contract beforehand to provide relevant and accurate guidance.
He began giving advice immediately, but it quickly became clear he had no understanding of my specific case. If you have not reviewed the contract or familiarized with my situation, how can you give an advice? An advise I’m paying you for.
I ended up spending most of the meeting just explaining the basics of my case.
When I asked for concrete tax insights, he jotted down numbers at random, with no structure, clarity, or preparation. This gave me no confidence in the advice offered or the comments made during the meeting.
Afterward, I raised my concerns, but his response was dismissive. He said he "wasn't interested in my problem" (well.. you are giving me an advise, so aren't you supposed to be interested in "my problem"?) and that advice is only given after the meeting. He also emphasized that I hadn’t been charged a tax advising fee, which was confusing, considering the entire point of the meeting was to receive tax advice. I still don’t understand the logic. If there’s a specific process to receive tailored advice, it should be clearly communicated in advance.
Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and a waste of time. I’ll be seeking a new tax advisor, someone who is prepared and capable of delivering the quality of service I expect (and hopefully less rude too).
