My new pair of trainers arrived quickly, they are a perfect fit and I'm very happy with the quality. I had a slight query with the ordering so I messaged the Karhu support team. They answered the message in no time at all and were only more than happy to assure me that the item would arrive on my doorstep.!
Communication was fantastic and the item arrived promptly.
I have had Karhu trainers before and would definitely buy again, due to the fact that the support team were very easy to deal with.

With having difficulty finding comfortable shoes for my problematic feet, I was thrilled to discover Karhu's are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever tried. So far I have purchased two pair, and will definitely purchase more in the future.

I've had two pairs of Ikoni 2.0 and have really loved them. This time I bought Ikoni 3.0 as there were no Ikoni 2.0 on offer. I've taken them out running a few times now and they feel quite different: about 10 minutes then feel quite uncomfortable underfoot (they are not too tight) and my feet start feeling numb/uncomfortable pins and needles feeling. When I switch back to my old Ikoni 2.0 I don't have this issue. The 3.0 in general feel a lot thicker and the sole feels perhaps harder. Just my personal experience. I wish I could buy some new Ikoni 2.0 somewhere!!!

I had a couple of specific questions regarding their sneakers vs lifestyle sneaks and they responded in a timely manner with excellent info.

I was a first time Karhu buyer, so I didn't know what size or style shoes would fit me best. For that reason I made a large order of multiple sizes/styles with plans to return anything that didn't fit. Before I purchased, I read the return policy and was aware that I would be charged a $10 restocking fee. After receiving the shoes there were two pairs that I could keep. When I went to request a return via the shopify link provided, 7 of the 9 pairs were designated as "final sale" and not eligible for return. There was absolutely no indication during the purchase process that these were "final sale" items. After failed attempts to talk with an actual Karhu representative via the chat tool on the website, I sent an email. The response was delayed, but I was finally told that I could return these items, but because they were purchased at a discounted price, I would have to pay for my own return shipping. I did go back and see that this policy is detailed on their website, but it's way down on the page past where most people would read. Additionally, its just a really odd policy that I've never seen from any other online vendor. You place items on sale, ostensibly to encourage poeple to purchase, then penalize them if something doesn't fit? At best this feels misleading, and at worst its predatory. This was obviously a large package and I knew return shipping would cost a fortune, so I asked if Karhu could provide a prepaid label or help in any way. No response from Karhu. I tried a couple more emails after that, but still no response. I was out of options and tired of dealing with it, so I bit the bullet and mailed the package back for a cost of $176; that was the cheapest option even after I split it into two smaller packages. So now I'm out the original cost of the two pairs of shoes I kept, plus $176. Now I have to hope that they are actually able to process my return correctly and in a timely manner so I can wash my hands of this awful experience. My advice? Buy your Karhu from a more reputable website with a reasonable return policy...I wouldn't dare roll the dice on a purchase directly from their website unless you have some deep connection with a shipping service.

Karhu are the best to walk/jog/run.
I have tried other brands and I always come back to karhu!
It sucks this time I had to pay almost 100 cad of taxes in addition to shipping and the cost of the shoes but I understand is not the company fault! Always happy with the product and service.

I love their shoes, but recently ordered a size too big. Even though I was past the return window of 7 days they send me a return slip so I could send it back and order the smaller pair. Thank you Karhu team! My only note is I wish they had more styles in stock--everything seems out of stock all the time.

Terrible customer service! I signed up with my email to get 10% off my next order however it took forever before I received the email. So I went ahead and purchased two pairs of shoes. After I received the 10% email I reached out to customer service via email and asked if it could be applied. Got a very short email back that it wasn't possible. Really!? I will return the shoes and purchase a different brand

I bought a pair of metsari and the toe cap was defective. Markus was very helpful in customer support and shippped out a replacement pair promptly.

If you like Kahru`s style... Then wait to experience their customer service. This guys are exceptional.

I bought a pair of shoes but the size was to big. I did the return process, everything smooth and clear.
As soon as i'll receive my money back for the return i'll buy the right size for sure.

I had a problem with a pair of Mestari - the black color turning greenish-blueish. I contacted Kahru Help and I receveid a quick response for Markus who was as kind as efficient. He asked me for some photos, and solved the problem by sending me a new pair of Mestari. All that in a very short time and on a very simple and kind way.

Without a doubt, I have never come across customer service as good as I have at Karhu.

I originally purchased a pair of Karhu sneakers from a UK retailer as the size/colourway I wanted was out of stock on Karhu.com. Having worn the sneakers only a few times, I started to notice some tears in the mesh at the front of the shoe. I reached out to Karhu directly to try and understand what was going on and whether it was normal for the shoes and the material to react in such a way to pretty limited use.

They told me that this was completely out of the ordinary and that the fault with the shoes was the result of a factory defect. They immediately apologised and told me to share our communications with the retailer so that the retailer could refund me and make a claim directly with Karhu. As it happens, between the time that I bought the shoes and this situation arose, the retailer I bought from declared bankruptcy and was taken over by new ownership. They explained in no uncertain terms that because the order was made before the new ownership took over, they were going to do nothing about it.

I reached back out to Karhu to see if they could help. Despite having absolutely no obligation to me - given that I had not even purchased the sneakers from them - they graciously offered to send me a brand new pair of any sneaker of my choice of a similar price to those I originally purchased. I then ordered a new pair which turned out to be too big for me and they had no problem whatsoever with me exchanging those for a different pair. I can honestly say that the customer experience I have received from Karhu is second-to-none; they clearly care deeply about the customer and the quality of their products!

I would like to specifically thank Markus and Paavo from the customer service team who dealt with my case. In particular, Markus went above and beyond to resolve the case for me and I am very grateful for his help!

Good communication and problem solving 1 shoe had an annoying stitching at the inside. Very quick and adequate response from client service dpt. Communication via email very helpful and clear answers and keeping you up to date during the process

Had some trouble with the condition of my shoes, the issue was taken care of straight away. I’m really happy about the support I was given!

I love Karhu shoes, they are very comfortable, great designs and they are built to last. I also had a really good response from customer services when I contacted them about a small issue with my most recent order, which was resolved to my satisfaction quickly and in a very friendly manner. Great experience and great products. Would reccomend to all.

I’d had several pairs of trainers from Karhu in the past. I bought a pair of Legacy 96 in October 2024, and had worn them fairly regularly before a fault saw the toebox split from the sole in September 2025. Despite the time that had passed, providing a few photos saw Karhu accept that there had been a flaw in production and allowed me to choose a fresh pair of my choice to replace the faulty pair. Customer service from Markus was first class, keeping me informed from my first contact, through to providing the tracking code for the replacement pair sent.

After contacting customer service about a faulty shoe, they responded extremely quickly, offering to solve the issue straight away. It is refreshing to have such great support and being able to resolve the issue so satisfactorily. Thank you, Karhu!
