Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing , a massive upgrade to our old cage . The fleece liner is soo soft and our oldest piggy now sleeps a lot more because it's so comfy . My daughter is very motivated to look after them and clean them out . She also loves to sit in the cage and play with them and give them treats . It is a bit flimsy but easy to slot back into it's place . All together it is perfect 👌 for our four guinea pigs. Five paws (stars!)
You will never get your order if you…
You will never get your order if you order from this company. It has now been over two weeks. Fed ex claims they can’t deliver the package because the sender did not provide fed ex with adequate information. Literally in one email, Alex, said I had to provide fed ex my social security number to receive the package. I have never had to provide a social security number to receive a package. Then when I told them that, they said I don’t have to provide my social security number. However they sent it, it is not clearing customs. They keep saying that I need to provide more information? Like what? They have my email, phone number, name and address. Don’t waste your money because you will never receive the package!
UPDATE ! Still no package and fed ex said they have already shipped the package back to the UK. Kavee (Alex) is telling me that it is my fault because fed ex has tried to reach me via phone and email WHICH NEVER happened. Do NOT order from them! You will never receive your package AND they claim to return it, I will be responsible for the shipping fees back to the UK! I never got anything to return! I am out $600 from this terrible business
Update-yes, I have requested multiple times to just give me a refund. You have stated multiple times that my refund won’t be completed until you get the item back. I have no control over when or if you will get the item back. I never received it. It has been sitting at customs for over a week and they claim they don’t even have the info required to send it back. I just need my refund for the items I ordered and will never receive

The product is ok, just ok!
When ordering, for some reason I assumed this product would be above average and fantastic in every way.
Sadly the prices are completely unjustifiable. I don’t mind paying a premium price on items, but their prices are just immoral.
I paid £248 (6x2) with a Black Friday discount. I hadn’t realised that it did not come with a fleece liner which would be another £128 (that’s also with another discount) these cages are also sold on amazon for less than £50.
I genuinely can’t justify how much these items cost. As I said they are ok, just ok.
Please research other retailers.
The cage I bought with liners and base shouldn’t have cost more than £150 and even that is expensive.
They are selling 4 acrylic panels for £48!!! You can pick them up from Amazon for £5.
It’s so dishonest to charge this amount to any customer. It really is a shame.

Appalling dispatch times and customer service…
We ordered late on the 27th December and still by the 7th January, our order still hadn’t been shipped. Given there’s been some bank holidays and the urgency behind our order (our daughters birthday this weekend and a guinea pig reserved - all communicated with Kavee customer service), I decided to email to get an estimated delivery date where I was told they were extremely busy due to the sale and gave no idea of when the item would be dispatched let alone delivered, totally understand they are busy, but perhaps when a sale is on, communicate clearly that dispatch is delayed on the website with the expected dispatch times or for a more personalised touch, email the impacted customers and give better customer service when your customers email you…
It’s our daughter’s birthday this weekend, our reserved guinea pig has had to go to another home and we’re absolutely gutted. Do not believe the amazing dispatch and delivery times on the website!
I’ve now cancelled our order with Kavee and gone to a much smaller company C&C Guinea Pig Cages Limited who will be delivering our c&c cage tomorrow, I ordered 10pm last night, now that’s the kind of dispatch times I’d expect from Kavee!
Perhaps we’ve been really unfortunate as the Kavee fleece liner we purchased via
Amazon on the 27th was shipped next day and it’s beautiful, we just expected Kavee to be excellent as the industry leaders but I’d personally save your heartache and go elsewhere.

Absolutely diabolical customer service
Absolutely diabolical customer service. Claim to despatch in 1-3 days and still hasn’t been dispatched 9 days later. Getting absolutely nowhere via email help account and have been offered no compensation at all. Disgusting for the price. I wish I’d known to avoid but I hope this helps somebody else to do so in the future. We have rescue guinea pigs waiting to be collected, no cage and zero care or concern from the team. So disappointed.

Nice idea but cage not sturdy enough . Poor design
Ordered a 4x2 cage and no problems with delivery . The cage is a good idea and a nice size for my 2 guinea pigs and looks nice . The issue is as others have said and seems to be ignored by Kavee , it is not sturdy enough even when all panels are pushed in connectors they pop out all the time and I am constantly having to put cage back together . It is worse I'd imagine having a lid as when you lift it things fall apart . Have ordered cable ties as others have said these resolve issues . I feel should not have to do this as cage not cheap . Couldn't recommend buying one due to this . The design needs to be looked at by Kavee

Daylight robbery … don’t bother
This one star is due to the fact that their charges/pricing is daylight robbery! Also the 5x2 cage I got , is not that great , we had to buy our own zip ties and make it more sturdy, and the joke is that the lid isn’t even included with the price - these guys are having a laugh ! honestly, how on earth they come up with the cost for any of their products is beyond me. The fleece liners are the biggest joke! Just go online and shop at vet suppliers for bedding , yeah ok they won’t have all the range of kids patterns on but I got some pretty ones. I’m absolutely gob smacked at their pricing, and honestly it’s not worth it people it’s way overpriced, they are taking the mickey. Delivery was late also.

Trying to get an answer about my order, please can someone at Kavee get in Touch I have emailed help email with no reply, understand it’s a busy time but it’s coming up as delivered by Evri but I do not have my order, it’s £250 of an order and I am becoming concerned about where it is. Evri will not accept my postcode to get any other info other than they have delivered it. It’s not delivered.

I ordered a cage and my package was…
I ordered a cage and my package was stuck in customs. Customs needed additional information from Kavee with no response. At this point, I fear we will not receive our package in time for Christmas. We have reached out through their website twice now, no response. CC'd them in emails with customs, contacted them through all other social media platforms. BUYER BEWARE!

If I could give zero stars I would. This is a scam. I placed an order over a month ago. No delivery as yet. I have followed up multiple times to their support email and no response. I got an email from fedex that they did not complete the invoice properly, forwarded all requests to them and still they have not responded. I have no idea what’s happening and there’s no other way to contact- there is absolutely no customer service. All that money stolen by this company. DONT take a chance on them.

They claim to deliver in 4 days at present its day 7 and it's not even left the warehouse I converted thd in house reward scheme to give me £17 off but the code wasn't accepted at checkout they won't reinstate my 8,500 kavee coins.
We have spent over £1,000 with them not only does delivery always take at least w weeks but quality is truly dreadful recently.
We are buying elsewhere in future as they are simply taking the proverbial out of customers. Once they have your hard earned cash they just sit on it. Never again
We have never had an apology after every complaint we raise. Nothing is ever their fault. We'll us shopping elsewhere is your fault

I will never use again.
I ordered a hay bag from this company as I was ordering a cage from them. Now, their products are not cheap so I expected good quality from them. On the subject of the cage for anyone else ordering, I would agree with the rest of the reviews, in theory seems great but not super secure and comes apart very easily. The loft sags and no matter how I try to fix it, it sags in the middle. Also the lid is wonky and so doesn’t sit flush on top of the cage. But it met my size needs for two guinea pigs.
The hay bag arrived and was missing the metal clips. I contacted them and after not getting very far, I then asked for a refund. They said they would send me a replacement bag. Please note that I wanted a refund but I was told that the cost of returning the item would be at my own expense and £7.
So I received the new hay bag and guess what? No clips. I checked the item description online and yes, it included two metal clips. This was five days ago. I have just had a delivery of the replacement clips after contacting them yet again and guess what. They have sent one clip. Not two. One. So I have a £22 hay bag that I still cannot use as no my enough clips.
I will never use this company again.

Flimsy and over priced
Cage is a great size and my piggies do love it, but it is so flimsy, the cage sqaures pop out of the corner holders even though they are clicked in properly. When you try to put one on, the next one comes apart. And the coroplast looks horrible where it joins, can be chewed and doesn't sit square, ie when inside the cage it pushes against the edge, again causing the corner holders to not hold very well. Not worth the expense at all. I've had this cage a few months now to give it a fair chance but not enjoying it. I shouldn't feel stressed cleaning out my guinea pigs that something is going to break?
Communication was quick with the company, until they don't like what you're saying and you get a notification to say your email has been archived.
I think its a nice idea, I wish I'd like it more, there is just something missing! I don't usually write reviews but feeling like this needs improvement!

Delivery and ordering was easy but having had it for a couple of months I cannot understand why it has such good reviews. It is so flimsy and comes apart so easily. I have to put it back together every other week. They need to supply more panels to make it more Sturdy.
Look nice but would not recommend, especially for the price.
