An employee of this company

An employee of this company, Claus, rents out apartments on the website boligportal.dk. We decided to rent an apartment and it turned out that we needed to make an advance payment of 1000DKK so that while we were concluding an agreement, the apartment would not be shown to other people. Claus sent us an agreement in which we found inaccuracies, especially he was mistaken in the amount of the annual payment for the apartment (the amount written in the agreement was greater than it actually was). Also Claus said that the owner of the apartment does not want to indicate his CPR/CVR in the contract. But we must provide our details in full. We have been living in Denmark for a year, we don’t really know all the rules, and we want to conclude an agreement as correctly as possible. We explained this to Claus and asked to include the owner’s data in the contract. In a telephone conversation, Claus allowed himself to raise his voice at my husband (in other words, he yelled at him). He said that he is a professional and knows how to conclude contracts. And that he spent a lot of time on us. After that, we informed him in email that we would sign the agreement only if it included the owner's CPR or CVR. Claus did not even think to apologize for his behavior, he said that the owner did not want to include this data in the contract. When we asked to return our 1000DKK deposit, Claus replied that he had wasted a lot of time on us, so he would not return the money.
Result: we received a loss of 1000DKK and were forced to continue looking for an apartment. Since my husband went to work and urgently needed housing, he had to pay for hotels for a whole month.

I hope it was my worst experience in Denmark
