Great cleaning products with good eco credentials.

This time round it hasn’t been a great experience unfortunately. I ordered some dishwasher tablets alongside some To Rimfinity toilet cleaner on Wednesday 17th December. The toilet cleaner was dispatched a day or two later, but no mention as to why the dishwasher tablets were not included. On 24th December I sent a query asking what was happening about the rest of the order. No response (not even an ‘out of office’ response) until 2nd January. This message informed me that the item had sold out but that the website had not updated to reflect this. It also included an apology for ‘letting me down’. I was promised dispatch the following week. By January 13th, I had run out of dishwasher tablets and needed to purchase some elsewhere. At this point I’d responded to the message of January 2nd saying that I wasn’t particularly impressed with the poor level of communication. I also messaged requesting that the remaining part of the order be cancelled and a refund issued. No response to either of these messages. And still no Mack dishwasher tablets. On January 19th I tried an alternative contact method on the website - basically telling the same story as above. This finally elicited a response - again an apology for letting me down, but no further explanation. At this point the website seemed to indicate that the dishwasher tablets were available, so no idea why I didn’t receive them. I did receive a refund for the item and the postage I’d paid on that order. I like this company’s products and their ethos, but they really do need to sort out their communication with customers when something goes wrong. I’ve been ordering from them for a while and have had issues a couple of times - communication from them can be either VERY good of VERY bad!

i am on a regular subscription whoch isn’t often enough. i tried to do a ‘one off’ order but found it difficult. i have now got twice ad much ad i wanted. difficult website to navigate

I have been using their dish washer tablets for a few years. All my dishes are spotless!

They work well

The Mac drain unblocker was what I was looking for as we have a septic waste water system and can’t put usual treatments in it. It hasn’t been used yet but it seems good. The products arrived as promised and in very good condition.

Worked really well. And no nasty aftertaste on glassware, cups and cutlery that I've noticed from the polluting bestsellers. So a win all round

Speedy delivery of an excellent product, better for the environment than many other dishwasher tablets.

After offering to do a deep clean for my disabled aunt, she bought the whole range of cleaning products, absolutely useless, not one of them done a decent job, the glass cleaner left the windows with more smears than they started with.
The bath and tiles were also left like they hadn’t even tried to clean them, and I didn’t wear gloves because it’s meant to be eco, my hand now feel like leather, absolute waste of money and totally useless all of it! 😡😡

Products arrived on time as always, I've been using MACK products for about 2 years now and they are genuinely great. I've tried other 'eco' products and some are ok but all of the MACK range I've tried has been brilliant. Highly recommend, they are also very friendly!

Ordered some toilet descalers, one of which was damaged by Evri ramming the parcel through the letterbox (I try to avoid using Evri as their service is terrible). I contacted customer services, and they were great, and sent me out two to replace the damaged one. Responses are usually next day, but they are a smaller company so I'm fine with that as they were friendly and helpful. Will certainly use them again.

I've been holding off writing this but... Having placed the order on 22nd August, I'm still waiting on my order. I've emailed twice and had very apologetic emails saying there have been stock issues. However the facts remain that I was charged on the 22nd Aug and as of the 18th Sept. I've still not received my order.

I love Mack products! They are fantastic! I use them throughout the house for my cleaning needs. This time round my purchases arrived in a squashed box. The Auntie Bac bottle had leaked and caused my other products to become wet.

Oh I so wanted this to be a major success story!

Small business, healthy, natural based cleaning products. Yes, it was expensive but I truly hoped it would be so worth it.

Ah well. It started off ok(ish) with a reasonably fast delivery time.

I was sadly disappointed even before opening the box as a very strong scent reached me - it turned out to be the washing powder that I believed was non scented as there was no information about the scent in the main title or top of description. Yep, I later found a brief mention (two words) in the middle of the description. Unfortunately on choosing to buy this, I hadn't read it all the way through.
I sadly cannot use this. I asked several times if I could swap it for a non-scented one. Sadly I hadn't received a reply so I can only assume there isn't one. I was offered to post it back for a refund. I chose to donate it to charity instead.

The second product I bought was a sink unblocker. Unfortunately this did absolutely nothing to my wash basin.

The third product was a WC cleaner. This is ok, has a milder smell which is bearable but it doesn't clean too well. No better than putting soap on your WC brush.

So sadly I won't be buying any more products from these guys. I do hope their ranges improve in the future as there is a huge gap in the market for something like this.

Gone downhill. I'm a long-time subscriber of their dishwasher tablets. Aside a couple of logistical issues every now and then (e.g. late delivery), the product was great until the last few weeks when Mack completely changed their tablets without warning. Suddenly the tablets are dyed, they don't clean well, they don't rinse well, and they just seem extremely cheap and low quality. An image recognition search shows the exact tablet for sale on Chinese sites for pence - I only hope Mack are not irresponsible / dishonest enough to go from a great in-house product to one with questionable ingredients. With all the dyes alone I would be surprised if it still qualified as allergy safe...

We asked about the change and were told this is their new formula and are 'as kind to the planet as ever'. Hard to reconcile that with the dyes and the apparent Chinese provenance... We have cancelled our subscription. Mack lost their way on this one - such a shame, and I hope they come back to their old ways.
