Tastes horrible, like cardboard, slimy. Wont dissolve into my porridge. Ruined my same breakfast of 45 years. Im upset! Can't eat it! Recipe has gone from 86% wheat bran to 78% wheat bran + wholewheat... See more

The limited addition of Hot honey crunchy nut cereal.
The limited addition of Hot honey crunch nut cereal, tastes unpleasant. The boxes were placed next to the crunchy nut cornflakes . In error I picked up these by mistake. May be this was a merchandising effort to get rid of the stock. Stick with the crunchy nut cornflakes don't waste your hard earned cash on this product.
Kellogg’s All Bran, disgusting new recipe!
What the hell has happened to Kellogg’s All Bran! Used to love letting it soak and eating it soft, now it’s like a cheap supermarket cereal that’s slimy and always stays crunchy on the inside. Has no taste of bran, only a slight sweetness which is horrible, I’ll be binning the box in the morning as can’t eat it, so much for changing the recipe to save waste!
Who on earth thought that these sticks…
Who on earth thought that these sticks were better than the original.
I can’t believe that people at Kellogg actually released them onto the public and believed it was an improvement.
What’s just as confusing is that they have been launched for over six months without them being withdrawn.
Profit before quality
Once again, another big corporate putting profit before quality. What on earth have Kelloggs done to 'all bran'? It's now crunchy twigs of tastelessness! the creator of the original recipe must be turning in their grave. And the same goes for the recent reinvention of their iconic cornflakes, which are now equally disgusting. I will not be buying anything Kelloggs ever again! Well done Kelloggs
New recipe is like cardboard sticks
Have been enjoying my morning bowl of Kelloges All Bran for many years...until now! No idea the recipe had changed until my first mouthful. Just like trying to eat rubber, tasteless sticks ,that could sit in milk for hours and not disintegrate. binned the rest. Will not be buying it again unless they bring back the old recipe.
Terrible texture and taste
Horrible substitute after recipe change.
I hadn't realised Kellogg's had changed the recipe until I started eating it, for the last time!
As others have stated, the new recipe is too crunchy and doesn't taste as nice. I actually put slightly warm milk in my cereal before topping with Rice Krispies, which used to make it soft but this doesn't happen anymore. It remains overly crunchy and floats about the bowl.
I previously looked forward to the dust at the end of the box, but this won't be happening anymore and I won't get to see if this is the case as the box is going in the bin after one bowl of the disgusting new All Bran.
Unless reverting back to the original recipe, it's another customer lost.
New recipe All Bran is dreadful
New recipe All Bran is dreadful. Completely tasteless, won’t soak up the milk, is now like re constituted cardboard. Absolutely awful. I expect much better from Kellogg’s. Premium price for awful product.
Didn’t realise it was a new formula
Didn’t realise it was a new formula. Absolutely horrible, tastes fake and texture is like plastic. Will not be buying again. Yuck. 🤮
Disgusting, Awfull All Bran
Disgusting. A poor, poor decision by Kelloggs to change from the original recipe of All Bran. Did they do a pilot test, did they ask the customers what they thought. I have instructed all my hotels contacts and cafe's etc to cease buying Kelloggs from now on. Change back to the original or we will never come back!
All Bran has gone backwards with its development
The new All Bran Fibre Plus version that has replaced the 'Original' version is a significant step in the wrong direction. The sticks are like plastic and do not soak up any milk. The taste is also much poorer.
I've switched to a supermarket own brand, which is not as good as the original but much better than the Fibre Plus version.
Disappointed with the new recipe
Disappointed with the new recipe. The new recipe has completely ruined the taste. Every brand tastes bland and artificial now. Very disappointed and definitely not purchasing again.
Hate the new recipe
Hate the new recipe, please give us back our all brands tastes rubbish, not buying anymore from you
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ALL BRAN?
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ALL BRAN?!
Not only will it not soften so that I can make an AllBran cake (as I’ve done for 30 years with a recipe my mum used ) after 24 hours soaking in milk , but it’s like eating slimy maggots. These extruded (?!) wormy plastic type things don’t break down so what are they doing inside us?! This is not progress, you have ruined your product.
M&S All Bran as good as the original Kellog’s All Bran
I already left a very negative review about the new Kellogg’s All Bran. It is awful. However I have just tried Marks & Spencer All bran and it is good, very similar to the Original Kellogg’s All Bran. I will now only buy their brand.
Awful now
Used to love all bran, soaked in milk overnight and topped with yogurt and fruit.
The all bran old recipe was fantastic for this, flavourful with a lovely texture, soaked or fresh and crunchy.
New version is vile, goes slimy when soaked and just nasty when crunchy no malty flavour at all.
Going out for the birds.
Shame
I am not a fan of the new recipe ...
This is the first time I have bought All Bran for a few years, I did not realise that the recipe had changed and was quite shocked and disappointed in the experience. I have no intention of pouring another bowl or buying it ever again. A complete waste of money! 🙁

Hey Google, So is it more nutritional and more fibrous to eat the packet rather than its contents?
Google said:- "It’s a close-run race, but the cardboard box might actually win on honesty.
If you were to tuck into the packaging instead of the new All-Bran Fibre Plus, here is how the "nutritional" face-off looks:
Fibre Content: Corrugated cardboard is almost 100% cellulose (fibre). Since the new Kellogg's recipe has dropped to a measly 10g of fibre per serving, the box is technically the "High Fibre" option in this scenario.
Ingredients: The box is free from the wholewheat flour filler that’s ruining the texture of the cereal. It also lacks the sugar and barley malt extract found in the shreds—though, at this point, users claim the cereal tastes just as bland"
UPDATE - Overnight soaked the packet in water achieving a childhood memory papier-mâché solution and taste tested both. Not only is the pack more nutritional and fibrous it actually tastes better (but lacks the appearance of edibleness). Shall work on drying it and putting it through our pasta machine and review and may update this review.
Also, left some product in the garden overnight expecting the birds to have consumed it; but they haven't and it remains crisp as ever!
New recipe disappointment.
The new recipe All Bran Fibre Plus is a serious disappointment. It now reminds me of extruded animal food, is tasteless and does not soak up milk. I am very unlikely to buy another packet and am going to have to scour alternatives to find a better product.
