Unwearable.

The dress I ordered took nearly a month to arrive, so they sent me a discount coupon...that doesn't work. When the dress did arrive, I discovered that the neck hole is sewn such that I can't even pull it over my head. And now I have to PAY for the return? This company is a joke.

To give some context, we generally charge return shipping fees to maintain fair pricing and discourage unnecessary returns, especially for non-defective items. This approach helps reduce our carbon footprint and supports more sustainable shopping practices. However, our system automatically waives return fees if an image is provided for a damaged or defective item. In your case, it looks like the RMA didn’t have a supporting image, which is why the fee wasn’t waived initially.

I did see in our conversation thread that you were promised the fees would be waived, and I apologize that it took us a bit longer to get that resolved. We’ve now waived the return fees and issued a refund to your original payment method as of 10/22, once our returns team received your dress on 10/21.

Scared at first! Very happy now!

I was leery of ordering because a few orders from China were lost or sent to the wrong address. However, the item I wanted was too pretty to pass up. My only problem was the communication at the beginning of the order. Not enough feedback as to where my order was. After I contacted you, everything began to proceed. I received the sweater and I am in love. It is a quality product, looks great and was a great value. I am a computer idiot, so don't expect a picture! I am very satisfied and will order again when my next SSI check comes in! I am 69 years old!

Fun and Colorful

Wait, what? I logged in to write a review and I am shook at some of the reviews. Kelly Obi is one of my favorite places to order fun clothes. I’ve ordered probably a half a dozen times and I’ve never had any issues. They always have fun, colorful items that fit my style. I often get compliments on the items I’ve worn from Kelly Obi. I will continue ordering from them as I’ve never once had any kind of issue receiving my order. They are always getting new things in so I’m constantly checking back for what I can add to my wishlist next.

I purchased a top 31st August 2024…

I purchased a top 31st August 2024 awaiting delivery (silver sequin top with red lettering LOVE) I monitored the delivery on the app, however when I looked next, the order had disappeared.
I have sent proof of my bank statement that £39.95 has been taken. I have emailed with the proof and still waiting for a response. This item was for an event which will have passed tomorrow. I would like a courteous reply. I was a very good customer, however will not order anymore from Kelly Obi until I receive a full refund!

For starters

For starters, I placed an order on 8/29 and a shipping label wasn’t created until September 8th. Since then it’s gone to a “shipping partner” twice, the 9th and the 14th with no expected delivery date. I didn’t read the reviews until after placing my order so I immediately found another option just to be on the safe side.. low and behold it’s 9/16 and I still don’t have an update or delivery. I’ve already received my items from the other company which arrived in 5 days. The return window for Kelly Obi is 14 days, how? This is crazy. I’m highly disappointed and won’t be purchasing again.

I wish I could give 1 star. The quality of clothing is not at all as advertised. This company reminds me a lot of Souk and Sepia. Idk if they are affiliated, but I do know what I order wasn’t as advertised. I will be filing a claim with the Federal Trade Commission. Tired of these companies taking my hard-earned money for false advertising!!!!

Bad Experience/Very slow service

Very slow service! I honestly think this company only cares to respond to bad reviews on trust pilot! I ordered 10 days ago from this store. 2 days ago, I got a message saying one item is out of stock offering a store credit or refund and discount card. I requested a refund. I don’t have that yet. Despite the much quoted shipping time in other reviews, I have neither got a shipping notification or any items shipped for the other items in my order. Once I suggested I’d like a refund as it does not seem these items will get to me on time, the company ghosted. 3 emails and not a single one answered till now once. Before I requested update on my order and the refund, responses to emails were quick. So I have no items, no response to the refund, no shipping notification, nothing.

*Updating this because the narrative in the response review response is misleading. I messaged Thursday, Friday and Saturday with no response…even though we had exchanged emails back and forth on Thursday till I requested a refund then silence. As soon as shipping was done, they then responded to my emails saying they did not see the messages and the goods are already shipped.

No longer a zero

I initially gave Kelly Obi a one star review based on the comments below, but because I eventually received a refund and a massive discount code I updated with three stars. I will give her another try.

"I ordered a dress and the status not yet shipped continued to be active after a few days. I inquired about my order and when/why it hadn't been shipped and my order was canceled which customer service claimed I requested, not true. I was also told I had been issued a refund, it never happened. I have repeatedly contacted customer service seeking a resolution, but they no longer respond to my emails. I was scammed out of money and the dress I ordered. "

Fast fashion rubbish plastic quality

Kelly Obi - a company with the tagline of fast fashion, not something to be lauded but they do.

The item was £103, looked like it was knitted in the few images shown, arrived within 2 weeks from UK address not US, looked like it was made of 3D printed paper/plastic that had to be peeled apart, the quality was the worst "fast fashion" so trust the tag line of the company as it is the same product quality as any Chinese based fast fashion company.

Requested refund online, form asked for photos of quality issue, said postage not able to be calculated and then submitted to company for review (unsure if every return gets reviewed), chased up a week later by email and a few days after that got a full refund and told to keep the item (so they know their product is crap).

Updated 29th Aug following company response below: no further details will be provided, it isn't about tracking, it is about the product being of extremely low quality and not worth even £2, yet they overcharge at £103. They know they don't want the item back as it is worthless, hence they told me to keep it and refunded me. My friend bought a tulle item, which as with other Chinese manufactured low quality items, is a fabric that can get away with low quality. Don't shop with them, they no doubt use the same suppliers as other disreputable companies and pay their workers nothing in countries where they can get away with this practice.

About the quality of the Rainbow Paint Pleated Set, that definitely doesn't sound like what we strive for. Your feedback is golden, and you can bet it's already on its way to our product team. We want our clothes to feel good as they look, and we're committed to making that happen.

As for the shipping surprise, we get it! Since you're outside the US, we try to send orders from the closest warehouse to speed things up, but we'll work on making that clearer to avoid any more "where in the world?" moments.

We'd love to look into this further, so if it’s not too much trouble, could you please email our Customer Care team with a screenshot of the tracking details you received? This will help us do some detective work and figure out what happened. Thanks in advance for your help with this!

1st and Likely Last Order

I placed my first, and probably last order with Kelly Obi on August 17th, if things are not resolved. I never received a confirmation email with the order number, but I did grab a screen shot of a confirmation that my order was received; that # 4AQ7CVTQM. To my a package came rather quickly (8/24, however, it contains a dress and I ordered a jacket and necklace. I've sent an email and am hoping to hear back from someone this week on how to resolve this.
