Wonderful!

I was trying to buy a very specific gift: exactly 80 chocolates for my Mum’s 80th birthday. When I realised this option was no longer listed online, I rang Kennedy’s and spoke to the loveliest, most helpful lady, who went completely out of her way to help me.

After I explained the reason for wanting that exact number, she kindly managed to locate their last available gift box for 80 chocolates, and then patiently stayed on the phone with me while I chose each individual flavour from their range. Nothing felt rushed - just genuinely friendly, thoughtful, old-fashioned customer service of the very best kind.

The chocolates arrived on time, beautifully packaged, and at a very reasonable price for such a bespoke, handmade gift. Most importantly of all… my Mum says they are absolutely delicious.
It was an absolute pleasure dealing with a company that clearly cares so much about its customers and its products. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again and will be recommending Kennedy’s Chocolates to everyone I know.

I have had chocolates from here for a number of years now I think that says it all...I have never had a problem with anything there's a really good selection of chocolates to choose from but no matter which I have chosen each time they are perfect no one else's chocolates come close I have brought for gifts and people have said how lovely they are a few times I have placed an order then made another order maybe a day later they have emailed me to say they would send them out altogether if that was ok so that I would only be charged one delivery charge you wouldn't get that from anywhere else they have always arrived on the day/date I have chosen I can't fault them in any way at all I are really fussy about what I buy but they are well worth the money the chocolates taste fab customer service is Brill what more can I say I are now awaiting my xmas order Thank You Kennedys

Yuk! These are not handmade they are more mass made unless the maker has no tastebuds. Sooo much sugar and aftertaste! These were a welcome gift at a property we stayed at. Nice touch I thought but no. The ‘hand made’ chocs were in chocolate cups that are purchased in bulk I know because I used to make my own. They are then filled with whatever the maker (cannot say chocolatier for these) blends. I tasted a salted caramel type the top was so thick it nearly broke my tooth and was super sweet, the next was a fudge! Omg I have never tasted fudge so loose and grainy with a nasty aftertaste. The rest are going in the bin and next time I visit I will simply leave them in situ.

We ordered a selection of chocolates for Christmas. They arrived on the date specified and were absolutely delicious.

I odered a box of chocolates to go to Norway (a shorter distance than Lands End to Orkney) and paid £17.50 delivery charge. The web site said that on average they arrive in 4 to 5 days. They actually took 33 days to arrive. I rate the delivery one star and give Kennedy's response two stars because although they responded, they took no responsibility for the abysmal service given by their own chosen provider. I can't rate the chocolates as I wasn't the recipient.

What can I say except disappointed

Long term customer, had a delivery problem.

David Kennedy will be arrogant beyond belief, not his problem - won't apologise.

Long a customer - shame good chocolate - horrendous customer service.

If, you look at any negative problems it will be always the same good chocolates, but only care about your money, any problems not interested.

Cannot recommend this shop in orton enough. The staff are so lovely and funny. I order online alot as we can only go into the shop when we are on holiday, a truly wonderful find. Everything is beautifully wrapped and arrives on time.oh and the chocolates are fantastic too xx

Amazing chocolates with such gorgeous taste. Can be quite pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for, as they clearly take great care in making the variety of chocolates. I visited the shop last year, and made an online order recently. Will certainly order again in time for Christmas!

Ordered chocolates for the tenth time at least since visiting the factory a few years ago. The quality of the product is world class in my opinion - easily as good as more expensive items I’ve ordered from Fortnum’s and Harrods. Delivery time estimates have always been accurate and customer service fast and helpful.

I couldn’t recommend more highly.

Amazing chocolates! But there customer service is appalling.had problems with delivery.when I phoned them up there was no apology for late delivery.They also told me that I had to pick them up from the delivery depo after paying a delivery charge.

Eventually when they did get back to me they were very rude and sarcastic.
