After attending a one to one session today to work on my CV I have come away having a more positive outlook on my job search. Not only was the help with my CV invaluable, the time and patience shown has boosted my moral and self esteem. I would 100% recommend using this service.

I found myself 'between jobs' and thought I had a perfectly adequate CV. After a chat with one of the advisors I realised there was definitely room for improvement. By following a few simple suggestions I had a revamped and modern CV and am looking forward to starting a new career soon.
The advisor also sign posted me to several free on line courses. She was able to advise me what skills employers were looking for and in my case it prompted me to improve my IT skills with an MS Office course. As a mature customer I also discovered l had skills very much valued by employers today such as problem solving and influencing and persuading people.
My advisor listened well and asked probing questions to ensure the advice was tailored to me. I also recieved follow up emails and calls to both check on my progress, but also for quality assurance purposes. I found it reassuring to know that their standards were being continuely assessed to ensure quality was maintained.
If you're a professional or semi-professional, don't assume this service isn't for you. Sometimes just looking at things from a different angle can give you are new and improved perspective. I'm sure my updated CV, on-line training and fresh attitude contributed to getting where I am now - about to start my new career!
