Booked in for a dishwasher repair in early March, Simon came out and said it’s a heating element which is out of stock and he will order and return next week. March ended and April came and he booked in on 9th April as the part had arrived.
Then on the morning of the repair I got a call to say the box didn’t include the heating element and that the parts company messed up. He assured he will have the part soon and will keep me posted.
A week passed and no news so I chased and chased and chased. FINALLY MAY 14 he replied to my messages to say the part had arrived. I was elated as it has been two months since the machine didn’t work!
He came out made a total mess of my kitchen, used my clean towels without asking to mop up his mess and left it in the sink. Wasn’t happy but didn’t say anything as I thought I won’t be dealing with this awful company again.
Then within two weeks the machine broke down again, I called them up and his dad booked in for a repair. I took a day off work and waited and waited. He didn’t turn up, so again I chased and the father’s response what “I’m under a machine, what do you expect me to do”. I was disgusted at his attitude, just a call to say they weren’t coming was the least They could do.
Simon then came the next week with a part, I could sense he wasn’t happy to do the repair. He complained that my dishwasher had an issue and that him replacing the part (which was under their warranty) was costing him £100. I told him heating elements on the Zanussi website weren’t £100 and when I showed him he shut his mouth, furthermore it’s their warranty. I left him to it as the situation was tense and just some drilling in the kitchen. I did note he was a lot quicker on this occasion but still left a mess.
When he was finished he called out to say bye and I went to the kitchen to find yet another load of dirty Towels in my sink. I saw him out of the door with the old heating element.
It’s important to say that Another reputable company I have used never left my home in this state, they bought floor coverings and tissue with them. Simon was very quick to slate this companies work, perhaps because he knows they are half decent and have called out KH’s awful work.
Any way after the repair Simon was quick to leave with the part he apparently changed. The previous time he left the defective part behind but this time he didn’t and I did think it was strange. I then turned on the machine and it was still not working. The water was cold and I called him to which he said it’s not his problem as it’s my dishwasher.
I genuinely think he didn’t change the part. I have used a reputable company in northfleet for years but chose this company as my usual company had a three week wait (which in the end was shorter than what I waited with KH), their repairs have never had issues and their workmanship and customer service is fantastic.
My usual repair company came out to check the work from KH and to my dismay it appears the part doesn’t appear to have been changed from the defective one I reported. The machine immediately worked with the new heating element installed by my usual company and has been working perfectly since early August.
I think that says enough about KH services. If you want to save yourself the headache and mess they leave behind I don’t recommend this awful company.
Booked an appointment for 11am -2pm,engineer phoned to say he was running early and could he come at 10.15.Simon arrived and fixed the problem with the on/off switch.Pleasant person and very reasonable prices.Would certainly recommend.
Had our dishwasher looked at cos water wouldn't drain away. KHServices came next day, and on time, engineer knew exactly what the problem was within minutes, he out it right with 5 mins -job done at a reasonable price. Bosch wanted £107 for call out.
They fitted a new heating element in my dishwasher, but it still wasn’t washing properly, so I rung them back and booked an appointment for the 24th November after 1pm, he didn’t turn up, I had a phone call from the engineer saying that he had been busy , so we arranged for the the 26th in the morning. As I’m writing this review which is now the 10th December they haven’t turned up and I haven’t received a phone call.
So it only seems they turn up for the more expensive jobs !!
Our ex neighbour put us onto these guys, and she'd been using them for decades. Excellent prices, services, truely honest, highly recommend them.
