Absolutely horrendous, total waste of money.

Absolutely horrendous experience with a urologist at KIMS. Didn’t go over options, extremely rushed appointments, sent home without everything we needed, constant admin mistakes. The proceedure also failed! When we complained, the consultant refused to meet/talk to discuss our concerns, just threatened legal action because all he wanted was his money!

Efficient

Very speedy and efficient service despite being an NHS funded patient (referred via patient choice). Had two appointments with the consultant, plus blood tests and diagnostics within less than 4 weeks. Now awaiting surgery date so fingers crossed that also comes around quickly!

Disgusting how they blame the person

Disgusting how they treated someone with disabilities discriminated them put their hopes up they promised her surgery said they were gonna fix her knee she met the surgeon told the surgeon her disabilities. He still agreed with the surgery gave her a date to have a surgery, then her pre-op came around she fainted because they used her as a pin cushion the lady even said that to her and started laughing because she couldn’t get any blood from her she fainted and left her in a room alone when the nurses came in to help me with my mum. They blamed it on a disability and then said we may not do the surgery due to her disabilities because I said they wasn’t professional enough the nurses said that so on first day we’re gonna have a meeting about it and let us know Thursday night to Friday morning did they call us? No I had to go and call them for them to say they still haven’t made a decision. We will call you Monday. Monday comes around. just under a week for the surgery now did they call us? No I had to call them and did they make a decision? No, at this point they could hear I was getting stressed on the phone an hour later they call my mum and say no, the surgery is not going ahead due to her disabilities that they agreed they could deal with three weeks beforehand, how do you work that out?

Not great when things go wrong

Lovely building and nice staff but when something goes wrong their investigation is flawed and only for themselves so they can "improve" their own services and not help the person who is affected.
I was left scarred by a botched operation and the most they could come up with was "sorry we will try to make sure this doesn't happen again" Can I have my money back? "no"
