St Albans Cathedral

.If I wanted to see a a tribute band on TV sitting on a fold up chair i would have stayed at home.
We were behind a pillar and with a TV screen on it couldnt even see the band. The band were OK musically but the liam and Noel impersonations were really cringeworthy. We left early never and would never go to another one.
Save money watch the real deal on utube.

Concert by Candlelight Westlife Hull Minster

I wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't been to a concert by candlelight before, but what a disappointment. Firstly there was no candlelight just a few fake candles on the stage. This was a Westlife concert so you would expect the singers to have strong voices, unfortunately the five singers on stage were out of tune and couldn't hit any of the high notes. The concert lasted 75 minutes so the price of £35.00 was extortionate. Won't go to another one.

Absolutely awful.

Absolutely awful.
Oasis by candlelight, the lead singer was shocking, tried hard to have the liam swagger and accent but sounded more scouse than Manc. All wearing sunglasses, indoors and chewing gum like they were teenagers🤦🏻‍♀️a terrible experience and we left after 20 minutes! An expensive disappointment. Never again!

Brought tickets for my husband to see…

Brought tickets for my husband to see the Beatles at Worcester Cathedral in the front section, he is a big fan of the Beatles. It was so bad the band was so loud you could not hear the singers. The drummer sounded like a marching band rather than playing to the music. Everything was off key. Had to leave at interval it was so bad. 😡

The Eagles by Candlelight Manchester Monastery

We love The Eagles and were looking forward to an atmospheric experience -the building was magnificent but just a few plastic candles at the front and what looked like left over Christmas fairy lights. We were packed in like sardines -and then the band started and I knew it was a mistake -poor guitar playing -no harmonies -we left at the first opportunity-£70 for 2 tickets.

Attended St Mary's Church Motown night…

Attended St Mary's Church Motown night in Warwick on 14th Feb. We love going out to celebrate Motown and R&B, enjoy a glass of wine and relax in great surroundings. A lot of venues we've been to, deliver a great safe environment, surrounded by like minded people. What we attended on Saturday, was more a Birmingham Broad Street Night Club vibe unfortunately. The normalised vomit and violence too. This is a seated event and if you're unable to stand, this is obviously important to you. Your view is totally prohibited as the whole thing turned into a drunken dance floor. Security is poor. They are not equipped to handle the issues and need more training. There was no scrutiny of people arriving drunk at the venue and the bar continued to serve them, throughout the night. Totally irresponsible. I understand the Church needing to raise funds, but it's such a shame they've compromised their standards. Didn't feel safe and we left early. Check your ticket for obscured views in the small print. You may be seated directly behind large Pillars of stone. People around us in wheelchairs were complaining they couldn't see a thing. Be very careful what your subscribing to. Sent email to St Mary's.

Disappointingly low volume

We bought tickets for Queen by Candlelight at Guildford Cathedral. Plenty of instructions about parking so we arrived early to avoid having to park at Surrey University and take the long walk!

We were so disappointed with the concert that we left at the interval. The singers were good as were the musicians. However, being nearer to the back there didn't seem to be speakers at our end so the music seemed to be happening in front of us which left us feeling a bit left out! The volume was also far lower than expected and there's nothing wrong with our hearing! The clarity of the music wasn't good from where we were sitting either. As we left we heard another lady discussing the low volume of the concert. We have emailed Kinda Dusty and are hoping they'll respond - nothing so far

We were not informed about the lack of parking

My wife and I purchased tickets through this company, for a concert to be held at the Guildford Cathedral. When we purchased tickets, we were not informed that we will have to park at least 10-20 minutes away, and need to walk uphill to get to the venue. My wife and I are in our 70's and have a bad hip and knee, respectively. This, in my opinion is absurd to require an elderly couple to walk to and from a venue, especially if it rains. Very poor organisation and business ethics! I'm requesting a ticket refund and will keep this site posted.
