KineticMC (Kinetic Network) Reviews 11

The people who run this, Dapper Fox Group, are... pretty scummy and immature people. They do very petty things like ban new players for no reason, and ignore any criticism by permanently banning/muting them. Support requests were made, and met with a permanent ban as well.
Would not recommend using a service by these people.

And I'll likely get a reply with some more stuff, so I'll go disprove those too. Tickets were *not* spammed. You constantly closed our tickets without ever resolving them, so we opened new ones. A single ticket per person is not much, and you kept ignoring them and just muting/banning us whenever we tried to plead our case.

Every single ban appeal by our team was denied and no further explanation was given; proof at bottom of review. No reason was provided for the majority of bans, including the ones from our team.

No proof was ever given to ban any of us, and some were banned over a single person's action, which didn't even break any rules. Their guidelines state that inappropriate images are nude images, and someone put up an image of an anime girl in our base and got banned for that -- the anime girl was fully clothed, and therefore was not "inappropriate" in any way.

Before you state any excuses of how it's "volunteer" work, I'd like to state how on dapperfoxgroup's site, it shows how dapperfoxgroup runs kinetichosting, and on kinetichosting's site, the support chat in the bottom right contains "Chris" and "Thomas" with profile pictures matching "SleepingTea" and "Chickon98" respectively. These are not volunteers, and so you should stop making excuses that they are. You're only digging a further grave for your company.

Please, read the review fully, and if you think I'm wrong, explain why with proof.

Edit: Sure, the kinetic hosting stuff may be accurate, but that was only half my point. As mentioned before, the ban appeals were promptly ignored, and any asking of other staff led to things such as "Get f*cked bozo"
And, the server is dropping pvp anyway, which I believe is only going to lose out on a lot of players, and brings me no point to make another ban appeal that will be denied without reasoning once more.

Also, sleeping tea said he doesn't own kinetic network, yet you say he does? Hilarious.

Edit 2: So he owns the network, but has no control over it. That's not ownership. I'm unsure why you're trying to push this around.
Anyways, prior to writing this comment, dapperfoxgroup's website showed Kinetic Network, and now it's gone. And since all the people at the company, according to LinkedIn and such, are people who work here. Unsure why you wish to deny this so hard; just don't have scummy employees.

Kinetic Network is a terrible server to play on since me and my team were banned for "suspected duping" when all we did was use automation, which somehow was enough for the owner to ban us for duping. When we tried to discuss this in their Discord server, we were immediately muted and our appeals were denied without any valid reason.

Instead of investigating our ban or providing us with an explanation, the moderators chose to shut us down and just ignore us.

Until kinetic network sorts out their issues with their terrible staff team I wouldn't recommend you play on this server.

The staff that host Kinetic Network along with most of the employees at Dapper Fox Group are mostly immature children. They refuse to listen to any logic and instead basically ban anyone who's good at the game using as bare bones proof as possible. Even the slightest thing gives permanent bans, despite their supposed staff docs stating it's a 30 minute mute.
They had also begun banning anyone who had a shred of skill, as if prioritizing some people, as they did the same non-rule breaking thing without any punishment.

After banning, they ignore anything they say and instead ban them from the discord or reply with things such as "Get f*cked bozo" (Censored for trustpilot)

Edit: I have done some research, and every single higher up of this network has affiliations as an employee at KineticHosting and DapperFoxGroup. I am referring to *owners and admins* here. The other staff didn't really do anything and I never saw them online.

Anyways, about the supposed "dox", this is not something any of my team did. It is highly illegal, and no one would want to be seen that immature to go and commit crimes over a minecraft ban.

The guidelines are pretty worthless since everything was bumped up to permanent despite the varying severity, but alright.

Ban appeals were made, and they were promptly ignored. Proof was given, and it was denied without any reason/notes according to the spreadsheet.
Tickets were opened, since ban appeals were denied without any reasoning behind them, and they were just closed without any reason other than things such as "you duped and got banned". Obviously more tickets will be opened by the same person if the ticket isn't resolved yet, which they weren't.
The staff bluntly said that we duped and never allowed us to plead our case. The only supposed proof of duping was that a bunch of items were at 15 in the ME system, which isn't proof of duping at all.
I'm unsure what this "Store bot" is, but these childish things are likely not a part of my team, and was likely someone else or a friend of ours. We apologize for any of this.
About the attacking of partners though, I said that I would get a partner to remove the server from their modpack due to the immaturity of the staff. This is in no way "attacking", and is just spreading news of the problems with KineticNetwork itself.

Your saying of "No matter if the initial ban was correct or not" is just showing your ignorance, and you're holding on to keeping the ban without any reason. Any sane owner would revoke this ban, since it seems like you even know that it's invalid. You're coming up with any excuse to keep it, despite it being false.

Great servers, good staff and alot of fun to play on. Ive experimented on several of their servers and all of them i have had fun. Nothing to complain about, keep up the good work chickon!

Chickon is excellent. They are on top of everything there pretty quickly and constantly look for ways to improve the service and offerings rather than just maintaining the status quo.

This network has had a few owners and managers over the years, and has tried (successfully) to revive the network by providing positive experiences over a wide range of servers.

Each manager has brought something valuable to the network, and dealt with either an incredible amount of pressure, or the need to focus during an alarming lull.

The servers themselves run the gamut between community-centric Minecraft worlds, kitchen sink modpacks, and even a pokeblock server.

Great servers, modpacks, and staff.

Deceased craft is the most addicting server to me, right now, during the summer break, i play it every day.

I've been playing on the Kinetic Network since 2019 and haven't had any major problems yet. The servers run smoothly and the support responds quickly and well. I can only recommend the Kinetic Network Minecraft servers.

I can't say much about the hosting concept yet because I haven't rented a server yet, but I'll add to this review as soon as I do.

Excellent modded Minecraft server-hosting and at no cost to the average player.
The small, but dedicated, staff team are always maintaining the servers and doing their best to accommodate to the demands of their clients [MC players].

As I have primarily been focused on their DeceasedCraft servers - namely being enamored by the player experience - I cannot vouch for Kinetic’s other modded servers in their entirety, though I can acknowledge Kinetic Network being a pleasant gateway to quality modded MC servers as a whole.

I played the PvP server, and after automating all the rare resources in the game, my entire faction was banned, our progress completely reset as the Owner of the server set our area to air, and banned us for "duping" after the user donator ZDYF donated to have us removed.

The "proof" that he used wasn't only shaky, but in fact proved our innocence more than it proved our guilt. Every resource in our base was fully automated.

Furthermore, he was extremely unprofessional, didn't allow any of us to make our case, only requesting that we make ban appeals (which were denied despite us proving our innocence in them).

Don't play this server. The owner will ban you and delete your base simply because you angered the wrong player or progressed too fast. Despicable.
