I am writing this with deep distress…

I am writing this with deep distress and disappointment regarding my recent Shimla–Manali tour booked through Kinghills (Ahmedabad, Drive-In Road branch) via your agent, Abhi.

Our tour was scheduled from 28th March 2026 to 5th April 2026 (Ahmedabad to Ahmedabad). We reached Shimla on 29th March and stayed there on 29th and 30th March. Thereafter, we proceeded to Manali and stayed there from 31st March onwards.

What should have been a peaceful family trip turned into a series of stressful and unfortunate experiences due to extremely poor service, mismanagement, and unacceptable behaviour from your staff.

From the beginning, Abhi demonstrated complete lack of professionalism. He made incorrect room bookings and, when we contacted him to address the issue, instead of resolving it, he argued with us in a highly rude and disrespectful manner. He used inappropriate language, refused to accept his mistake, and showed no sense of responsibility towards customers.

We had specifically booked a 4-star hotel – Snow Bloom in Manali, but due to Abhi’s wrong booking, we were forced to stay for one night at Hotel Wild Rose. Despite this, arrangements were poorly managed where we had dinner at Snow Bloom while staying elsewhere—such cover-up arrangements were handled by the tour manager. This clearly reflects internal mismanagement and lack of coordination.

Even the tour manager acknowledged that the mistake was from Abhi’s side and that such behaviour should not have occurred. However, no proper resolution or accountability was provided during the trip.

Additionally, some of the drivers assigned during the tour were uncooperative and rude. There were instances where they refused to turn on the AC even when the temperature was high, causing further discomfort. Basic customer service standards were clearly lacking.

Due to continuous mismanagement, arguments, and the need to constantly coordinate and resolve issues during the trip, our family was under immense stress. We were supposed to stay in Manali until 2nd April, and complete the tour by 5th April, but the situation took a tragic turn.

On 1st April 2026, during the course of this trip, my father suffered a sudden demise.

Due to this unfortunate incident, we had to immediately return back on 1st April itself, after completing post-mortem and necessary formalities, leaving the trip incomplete.

While no one can fully attribute such a loss to a single cause, the constant stress, inconvenience, arguments, and mental harassment we faced throughout the trip undeniably worsened the situation. This is something no family should ever experience.

Even after paying the full amount, facing such disrespect, inconvenience, and emotional trauma is completely unacceptable.

Considering the circumstances and as a matter of basic humanity, the company should initiate a partial refund for the incomplete trip and the inconvenience caused.

The level of negligence, mismanagement, and insensitive behavior reflects a serious failure in your company’s operations, employee conduct, and accountability systems.

I strongly urge Kinghills management to:

Take strict action against Abhi for his behavior and negligence
Review and improve employee hiring and training processes
Ensure such incidents are not repeated with any other customer
Provide a fair partial refund considering the incomplete trip and tragic circumstances

Please consider this as a formal warning. I am seriously considering taking legal action against both the company and the concerned individual for mental harassment, negligence, and the distress caused to my family during such a sensitive time.

I expect a prompt, responsible, and humane response from your side.

If not addressed appropriately, I will proceed further with legal measures.

The vechies is not good does make make relaxation and the group does not hearing the word of customers and does not support the customer and hearing the words here you have expined your own money to get relax and hotel of Shimla is worst never had a experience of disaster trip I will suggest not to book the trip with this group.

Threatened to customer by Nikol ,Ahmedabad Branch

Dear Kinghills Head office Team
I have booked my trip through Nikol, Ahmedabad Branch and due to Terrorost attack in Kashmir they cancelled trip and asked me to take a Voucher intead of refund and since voucher received i had some medical issue not able to travel so asked Nikol office to give me refund but they Threatened me and said you will not get any refund so i am very upset with their behaviour so i request @ Deepak Dhayal @ Suresh Raina to resolve my issue , or i have to take any action from my side.

Terrible Tour I have ever experienced

Terrible Tour I have ever experienced.

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with the tour experience. Here's what went wrong:

- Unprofessional tour managers focused on earning rather than service.
- Managers didn't know the spots, leading to missed places.
- 5/7 days bathing in cold water, 1-2 star hotels, poor food, and unhygienic rooms/toilets.
- Uncomfortable tempo traveller for 2000 km, unfit drivers, and 12 am dinner after late check-in.
- 100 rs refund for breakfast? Pathetic.
- Worst management, no coordination, and multiple contact numbers that don't respond.
- Too many staff, no one takes responsibility.
- Brand ambassador is just a gullibility test; their service is a big scam.

😡 Don't book with them. Their business is built on exploiting customers.

Not trust worthy

I had earlier booked a Rajasthan trip with King Hills. During that trip, a tour guide was provided only for one day, and for the remaining six days there was no guide.
Still, I trusted them again and booked a Himachal Pradesh trip. The salesperson promised that a guide would be there throughout the trip. A guide was provided, and they were helpful.
However, there was a big mistake in the itinerary. I had booked the trip including Dharamshala, but on the invoice they mentioned Dalhousie. I only found out during the trip when I was expecting to travel to Dharamshala the next day.
I tried calling them many times, but no one answered. When someone finally responded, they said they would check and get back to me, but they never did.
The service may look good at first, but I found them careless and not reliable. Overall, I am very disappointed with King Hills.

We booked a 7-day Kashmir package with…

We booked a 7-day Kashmir package with Kinghills including hotels, breakfast, dinner, and local travel (train tickets excluded). Since it was our first trip to Kashmir, we booked through a travel agent to avoid scams, but the experience was disappointing.
Katra – Click Hotel: Rooms were clean and hygienic and the food was good. However, our room key wasn’t working and it took about 15 minutes for the staff to respond. Because of this delay, our Shivkhori plan got cancelled as we couldn’t leave on time.
Srinagar – Butt Stay: The hotel was in a very isolated area where even stepping out for a short walk didn’t feel comfortable. Food quality was extremely poor — watery chicken gravy, tasteless veg food, and breakfast cereal served with diluted milk. One room heater wasn’t working and it took almost 2 hours to fix. The receptionist kept interrupting us during dinner with unnecessary conversations. Rooms were also very small.
Houseboat Stay: The room was too small to accommodate 4 people comfortably, but this was not informed in advance. The caretaker was rude and served a limited breakfast (bread and omelette) without informing us, leaving some of our group members without food.
Route Hotel (last stay): Rooms were decent but food was again very poor. We were served half-cooked chapatis twice. Hand wash at the restaurant was finished and staff said they would refill it the next day. We were also told chicken was finished but it was served to another guest; only after we raised the issue was it given to our group member.
Overall, the trip felt poorly managed — hotels in isolated areas, bad food quality, and poor staff service. It felt like cheaper options were selected, possibly to save commission, which affected our holiday experience.

I am writing to raise a complaint…

I am writing to raise a complaint regarding the very poor experience I had with your travel package covering Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Thiruvananthapuram.

At the time of booking, the itinerary shared with me did not clearly mention additional or extra costs. However, after reaching the destinations, I was repeatedly asked to pay extra charges for several activities and services which were not informed earlier. This was highly misleading and caused unnecessary inconvenience during the trip.

The houseboat arranged for us in Alleppey was in extremely poor condition. The food quality was very bad, and even the water provided was salty and not suitable for use. When I requested normal water at least for face washing, it was not provided. I immediately raised a complaint with your team member Vandana, but no proper response or resolution was given. She also stopped answering my calls afterward.

The next day, when I contacted your team again, Mr. Shourab answered the call and spoke very rudely, stating that this is how it would be and that I could do whatever I wanted. Such behavior towards customers is completely unacceptable.

Additionally, the driver forced us to start our journey at 2 PM despite our request to leave at 5 PM. He even threatened that if we started later, he might stop the vehicle midway at night to sleep if he felt tired. This created serious safety concerns. Even after informing Vandana and Shourab about this issue, no proper action was taken. Only after several hours of discussion did they agree to our requested timing.

In Munnar, many important tourist attractions were not suggested or included in the visit plan. Instead, we were taken only to roadside or low-value locations. Several places shown, such as waterfalls, had no water at all. As a travel agency, it was your responsibility to properly guide customers and suggest suitable alternative places. We trusted your agency and booked the trip based on your recommendations, but unfortunately, our money and time were wasted.

Overall, the trip management, customer support, accommodation quality, and staff behavior were extremely disappointing.

I request you to investigate this matter seriously and provide an appropriate explanation and resolution for the inconvenience and poor services provided.

Very poor management

Very poor management. Tour manager was good but company itinerary plan is very bad.We went to munnar, Alleppey and thekkadi. Sharing room till 7pm in boat stay as we are in group with limited food. And all adventure expenses are from customer which are half of tour price. No worth of 30k couple. Suggest you to trail of your own. Do not do jungle safari, waste of money. Elephant ride and bath is worth.

Worst traveller ever experienced

Worst traveller ever experienced. No sense of responsibility they take on themself. First of all they ask you to make full payment, and after you are caught in that trap, they don’t respond to your call. I am still travelling. At first they didn’t book my train ticket 3A/C, at end moment they want me to change booking date, which is not possible for me, I have no option other than travelling by bus. I have clearly mentioned them not to book last seat, after so many reminders they book wrong bus and also upper last seat, which is very uncomfortable, when I m travelling with my wife and 3 year old kid. Don’t know how much more this travelling company is going to spoil my holiday trip. People choose travelling company to easy up their hassle for booking various things during their travel, for ease and smooth travel, instead @kinghills travel is making my trip so much stressful.

I booked a package for manali with King…

I booked a package for manali with King Hills Tours and Travels, and it was a complete scam. They skipped major sightseeing points mentioned in the itinerary, including (Rohtang pass,Solang valley, mini switzerland khajjar)and adventures in kullu

The tour manager,Shubham was unhelpful and ignored our complaints. And even we did 4/4 with our expenses.This agency overpromises and under-delivers. Do not trust their "low price" packages; they save money by cutting out the best parts of our trip.And one more thing is very poor transportation dirty vehicles not cleaned properly waste of money.

I am writing this review to highlight…

I am writing this review to highlight serious issues in my ongoing trip organized by Kinghills Ahmedabad office. While the itinerary was okay, stay is around 50 km away from the locations, breakfast and dinner plan we opt. I was explicitly assured that dinner would be provided at my hotel as part of the package. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the hotel management that they do not even have a kitchen facility and cannot provide any meals.

It is clear that the tour operator and reservation team are completely unaware of the actual facilities at the hotels they book. After reaching to sales team, reservation team, virtual guide they said will give you limit of 250/- for the dinner and u can go and complete the dinner. How non-sense behavior it was..!!!

If u ask for any small facility it was chargeable but if you face inconvenience they are out from their responsibility by telling that U have to manage your dinner and next day breakfast within company policy it will be reimbursed..!!

The worst part of the conversation is that we are traveling for the first time Kerala and we are unaware with which restaurant will provide Jain & Veg food, tour operator and beach office manager aren't suggest any single option..!! Almost spending of 45-50 min than we find jain & veg restaurant.

This agency is selling dreams but I think delivering a nightmare. I had a truly pathetic experience with team and suggest to other travelers to review the comments carefully. Writing issue on my first day of the trip.

I travelled through kinghills travels

I travelled through kinghills travels. Booked my Kerala trip with them. Everything was well arranged. Hotels was very nice neat and clean. Provided vehicle was in very good condition soddi paji was our driver and Rahul was our tour manager helped us in every situation. Well managed tour. It was my first trip with kinghills and they made it unforgatable.
