They have just stolen my money, I don’t believe they even have any crates. Seems from the reviews previously, they open up the order books, take the money, and then “restructure” the business taking everybody’s money.

We are now looking at taking legal action. We have been chasing them since late February 2025 for a refund on items that were never shipped, so we cancelled the order. We are still waiting for the refund—this must be a scam!

It took ages for my crates to come because of the shortage of wood, but when they arrived today I was blown away with the quality of the crates.. it was definitely worth the wait and soon I will order more! Thanku!

Do not trust this company - I ordered on 2 Jan against an estimated lead tie of 4-7 days. Since mid Jan I have chased on at least 7 occasions to be told that my itmes would be dispatched “this week or next”.

Today I informed them not to bother and to cancel my order and that I had sought a refund from my bank and….as if by magic, within 3 hours they were showing as dispatched.

So now I will have another fight on my hands returning goods that are too late for what I need

Horrendous company, didn't receive my order, no explanation provided other than "there is a minor delay" and no offer of a refund or satisfactory solution - its currently with the bank who are trying to recover my monies. Failing that, I'll take legal action. Such a shame as the products themselves look great on the website, and would've been perfect for our business.

Funny but true - these crates are life-changing! Okay, so I never thought I'd be writing a review about wooden crates, but here we are! These crates have seriously helped me organise my life. I even use one as a side table now. Who knew storage could be this stylish? Five stars for versatility!

Please please don't buy from this company! I purchased 16 crates for my daughters wedding back in the Summer, only 4 arrived. I tried for months to get a refund on the missing Crates, emailing several times. A couple of times I got a reply to say they would refund, however received nothing. I tracked the missing crates myself in the end, only to find they had been returned to sender, which I told them, however still NO refund!

Disappointing customer service, but could have been a 5-star experience if communication was better.

I ordered wooden boxes from King of Crates, with their website stating a delivery time of 5 to 7 working days. By day 6, I hadn’t received any dispatch notifications, so I contacted customer service for an update. I received a vague response from "Sophie" saying it might ship within the next day or two.

Four days later, on working day 10, I followed up again but received no response. I chased them once more on working day 12, and still got no reply. After waiting for another four days, I sent a final email on day 14, threatening to contact my bank for a refund if I didn't hear back. The next day (day 15), I finally received a dispatch notification, and the boxes arrived two days later via DPD.

After checking Trustpilot, I found that long delays are a common issue, with many reviews mentioning delivery times of up to 3 weeks.

If King of Crates could either update their website with an accurate dispatch timeframe or respond to customer inquiries more effectively, they'd likely receive better reviews. Had I known the wait would be 3 weeks, I would have been more patient, but the lack of communication made the experience frustrating.

Have used the company in the past and this is the second time. One of the best value companies for these products and brilliant service.

Once I had ordered I see the reviews and most of them was really bad saying they take ages and don't turn up but mine turned up within 4 days of ordering them and they are lovely. Will definitely order again.

The crate would have been fine but it turned up quite damaged by DPD i sent photos and complained and was told i could have a refund. This is 2 months ago now and my emails are being ignored. I am sure DPD reimburse you so please can i have my refund?

At first after reading the previous reviews from other people experience I felt I had been con out of my money by this company. Took to emailing customer service and was reassured my order would be processed and as soon my creates were made and shipped out I would be notified. As promised I was update by email every step of the process. As promised my crates arrived by DPD today with no damage and I love them. Than you

Terrible experience, if I could have left this review without leaving any stars I would have, ordered 2 crates, was not kept informed about my order, eventually got some communication, and the company agreed to refund, now nearly 4 weeks later, no crates no refund, had to take this up with Paypal, still waiting on my refund, it appears that 4 of their 12 good reviews have the same surname, just a coincidence, maybe,
