BEWARE - Worst experience I have ever had with a company...
Normally I am not one to write a bad review, but the experience I have had with Kingman kitchen has been EXTREMELY POOR & I would not wish this service upon anyone else, so here we are.
My partner and I were tossing up between Freedom Kitchens & Kinsman, after much debate we decided on the cheaper alternative due to budget constraints of renovating a house.
Our salesperson Naomi was brilliant at her job & helped us decide on the most suitable options to fit within our budget, unfortunately this is where our experience with her ended and the extended company took over.
We were advised that any changes to be made would need to be via their portal with their CAD team,
the CAD team is offshore, which means any basic requests for changes to the plans were extremely difficult to explain due to the language barrier, something as simple as we would like to add a bin into our cabinetry was met with a lack of understanding.
We had made a very simple request for ALL of our cabinetry (full kitchen/laundry) to be in white instead of its original Oak parts, this was discussed & confirmed via email prior to us signing off the final plans.
Our Kitchen has just arrived and we have some panels in Oak & no handles were provided.
We have now had to push our cabinet maker, stone mason, plumber & electrician back due to this which has cost us dearly.
When we reached out to the Kinsman team we were greeted with the response of it being our fault for not checking the finals plans.. we explicitly told their "off shore" team we want ZERO oak in this kitchen/laundry. Mistakes happen we understand but there is an opportunity to rectify this so we gave them the benefit of the doubt.
After countless calls to their head office, requesting managers to call us back that "are not at their desk at the moment" we are yet to receive a call, instead we are pushed to email their disputes team which take 2-3 business days to respond, all the while we have a Kitchen sitting in the middle of our house that is incomplete (3 months with no kitchen FYI).
It has now been a week with further calls & emails to the head office and we are still yet to receive a call back, I am absolutely gobsmacked how a business can be run in this manor with zero regard for its customers...
I hope that this review provides anyone considering Kinsman kitchen with valuable insight into what you are getting yourself into before signing off with them...its not worth the pain TRUST US.
Disgraceful customer service, poorly run company..
completely overrated - terrible service experience
The whole experience with Kinsman has been extremely disappointing. I expected so much more from what I thought was a good brand.
The online system is so impersonal. You can't even talk to anyone. The design was even rushed in store.
The job continually got held up. It was even hard to know when payments were due or if things were being held up.
A Jan/Feb install date I was advised at the Sales process turned in April with no apology or acknowledgement.
Delivery was confusing and the drivers even commented on how disorganized and frustrating they are to work/deliver for.
The install is booked for tomorrow. fingers crossed that goes smoothly!!

As other reviewers have stated please DO NOT touch this company. Avoid the stress and anger and go elsewhere.They are split into 2 divisions 1) newly arrived innocent office recruits to the company who try their best to cover for ....division 2) Incompetents, con artists who couldn't care less, lousy installers , ripoff extortionist tradies, designers with no idea who tell lies and who just want your signature on the contract. Division 1's burn out quickly and leave when they soon realise what a botch of an outfit they work for. Crooked cupboards that fall off the wall, big gaps, gaps too small I could go on but am trying hard to forget.

Do not use this company. The after service is just not possible. After so many attempts to have them check my kitchen cupboards that are not closing correctly and have also dropped. They will not return you call and when I do speak to someone they say that some one will ring you back to organise a date.
I have also emailed sydney kinsman / wholesale kitchen without no response.
My advise is poor sale and after service needs to be questioned.

I wished I had read all these reviews before signing a contract and and paying the deposit. Mass produced, ill Fitting Mess. This was supposed to be my dream kitchen a huge waste of a lot of money. Incorrectly sized cabinets made off the plan, sent doors with hinges on the wrong side. Replacement door sent 20cm too long and the customer care is NON EXISTENT.
Don't go there. also all doors were not protected and arrived Filthy dirty

they subcontract out everything and wash their hands of the issue once delivery of product is made. Their customer portal which they pride themselves on is clunky and no one responds to you when you do use it. Product isn't fantastic either, cupboards came to us dirty and one door didn't fit right.
Scam of a company
Scam of a company. Take zero responsibility when measurements and products are wrong. Sub-contract everything and say speak to someone else about it.
Misleading from the start
We trusted the expertise of the designer, signed papers based on the explanations of our design drawings. We were so excited, pumped a lot of money into it, forced to pay in full before delivery of anything. Our pantry is not what we were walked through in the design meeting, the designer explained it in full but they’re saying what was promised on the inside of our pantry were not on the contract. The designs are cabinet front only and we entrusted that what the designer had told us would be (shelving and accessories) was on the design he walked us through. We were willing to come to a resolution based on what we had, not what they promised and they still advise they would make us pay more for it.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The finishes are no different to ikea. With ikea you would atleast get more customisability.

I’m concerning taking this to current affair.
Not just for myself but for all the disappointed hard working people who have been left dissatisfied.

- Biggest waste of $27,000 I could ever imagine.

Their kitchen designers are rubbish and I was so pressured to sign up. I have subsequently worked out that they really are just professional hustlers.
They are charging me $800 to pull out of a disastrous kitchen design because I signed on the dotted line .
I am a TV producer from The Block and various other Reno shows, this outfit are complete rogues , please save yourselves from a complete world of pain . Appalling
I am yet another disappointed customer
Wish I had read these reviews before I embarked on the worst experience ever. It has been since April, they try everything possible to get hold of you when they need your money and once they have it there is no way of getting hold of them. They tell you everything must go onto the portal but they do not reply quickly but weekly and always on a Friday at 430pm and this is why the job blows out.If you call 'they' are in a meeting. Totally useless and unprofessional. They moved the delivery time twice, even when I asked them to confirm 4 days prior as I needed to organise time off work. They take no responsibility for their trades as they are contractors so you have to chase them up yourself and this is why i employed Kinsmen in the first place so i didn't have to do this.The only thing good was my interaction with The Goodguys to buy the appliances and Kinsmens representative at Lutwyche Brisbane, maybe they need her to run the company and not the useless mob that seems to not know what true customer service is. Also, I now believe that this company should not take all your money before delivering your kitchen as now I have no bargaining power with them for stuff not delivered. I guess i am back to using the portal again so they can ignore it for yet another week. Delays delays delays.

Sadly, like everyone else on this review page, Kinsman have taken our money and failed to deliver the full kitchen, the cabinetry that has arrived has glue marks and is very poor quality. They've replaced a few pieces but have not arranged for any trades to come repair. Terrible all round service, the only thing they're good at is taking all of your money and then ignoring you.
Should be on Current Affair, not The Block
Massive mistake choosing Kinsman for our kitchen, laundry and wardrobe renovations. Over twelve months of drama with poor materials, incorrect components, terrible communication, huge delays and worst of all a DON'T CARE attitude. Managers will not ring back as promised by call centre staff, once they have your money they don't show any interest in doing the job as promised. The worst company we have ever dealt with!

Kinsman pride themselves on being the suppliers to and sponsors of the Block TV show.
However, their Customer service is non-existent and they trade on a method of once you've paid your money, their care factor drops to zero!
Misleading sales pitch, poor cost estimating, terrible lack of transparency as to how long supply and installation will take and a clever use of third parties to detach themselves from any ownership when things go wrong!
5 weeks waiting for a call from their completions or management team, and still nothing!!
On the plus side, their kitchens are a nice quality for a mid price range. Great contract with their stone supplier (Deluxe Stone) and thank god they have some good trades people they sub-contract installation etc. to. Fitter was excellent!

A TOTAL "KITCHEN NIGHTMARE"...
Like many of the other reviews about Kinsmen Kitchens, i started with high hopes for a sparkling new kitchen as promised. I first signed my contract in Feb 22, and it is now mid August 22 and all i have is an incorrect, half finished uncompleted disaster...!
Incorrect measuring left me with a smaller cut out of cabinetry and stone bench tops (60cm )for my 90cm cooktop. No pantry doors provided, crooked Island Bench, everything left incomplete! No applicances fitted and unusable!
After many calls pleading for a response two Inspectors arrived and noted all the issues and agreed immediately with errors and advised it needed to be resolved or compensated. Since then No response to calls requesting assistance, told lies that someone would assist me, kept on hold for hours, disconnected, NOTHING...IGNORED!!! 2 months and an unusable kitchen without support or advise and left for me to now take further action.
I have consulted Legal I am also in contact with media simply to warn others. Please contact me if you wish to join the action!
Kinsman please call you customers
I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing off Kinsman. Kinsman are great when it comes to organising contracts and taking your money. Once the kitchen is delivered and there is an error they will ghost all calls and emails.
They delivered the wrong kitchen - they used an old plan, even though it was changed and I had paid for the amendments! the kitchen sink I purchased was based on the design they gave me and it doesn't fit! they failed to provide me with the accessories I had also paid for. I have very annoyed as I have a half a kitchen installed and not usable.
Kinsman all I ask is call me!

It takes them at least a fortnight to get back to you.
