Poor service - ordered a coffee table for £80.00 which as per their website had free delivery. After placing the order and charging my card, they emailed to say there was an error on their website and the minimum order was 6 units or £60.00 for delivery - I refused to pay the extortionate delivery charge and they immediately cancel my order.

Edit - in response to their reply - The 'solution' offered was to charge me the £60 delivery fee. I rejected this offer at which point they immediately cancelled the order. I did not threaten to leave a review, I simply said I would be leaving one.

We bought 30 chairs. The price was good (maybe not the absolute cheapest, but the best from a reputable firm). But the reason for the 5* was the excellent service from James. Clear explanation of what would happen at the start, rapid response to queries and promises to call back always met. He should set up a customer service training company!

Excellent customer service today from Jamie who spent a long time explaining my options to me, and the logic behind the choices. It all made perfect sense and I learned a lot. Jamie was exceptionally helpful and it was a pleasure to deal with Kirkhouse. I will definitely remember them in the future as I received a 100% personal service.

Ordered furniture for our village hall - we chose Kirkhouse because they were able to provide everything we wanted in one order. Communication seems to work best by email but to be honest that is a lot easier anyway. There was a fair bit of back and forth to ensure we got exactly what we needed, Jamie very helpful and patient with that.

The element of the order from Go-pak turned up first as it is off-the-shelf. All as ordered but some courier issues, probably not Kirkhouse's fault - all credit to the subcontractor courier who tracked down a missing item and was very helpful with delivery. We are an unstaffed building so need notice for deliveries, there's no reception and our volunteers aren't going to wait all day on the off chance.

The 'to order' items did take longer than initially planned, but that's how it is at the moment. Delivery there was from one of Kirkhouse's own drivers and that was super-efficient; 24 hours in advance notice as promised, and then a call at the time expected with half an hour's notice. Van turned up practically as the 30 minutes ticked round, can't complain there!

Very pleased with what we have bought, which hopefully will be in use for many years to come. Would use this company again.

Easy to order, great customer service. Was kept unto date with delivery. Lovely modern chairs, many colour choices. We chose lime which the children love and they are easily stacked away in our community centre when not in use. Would definitely use company again.

Absolutely shocking service by this shoddy company and its so called sales manager. We made and order back in March 2021 and now it is nearing the end of September 2021 and our order has not been fulfilled! I have had to chase and chase the order, we were promised fulfilment days and nothing materialized, i have email and email with all sorts of excuses. If you cant fulfill the order then don't say that you can. They have also swapped and changed products what we ordered.
The sales manager Jamie, i have never spoken to anyone so rude and unhelpful in my life, would not pass me on to a director saying that they would agree with him so he would not let me speak or email them. Jamie has been with Kirkhouse for 23 years, maybe he is a little too comfy and thinks he knows best and the customers know nothing! He does not return calls or respond to emails again i have evidence of!
Basically Kirkhouse are a drop shipper for another UK based company Mogo and all they keep on doing is blaming them, the pandemic, shipping and the Suez canal :D
If you cannot fulfill the order then don't give delivery dates and deliver on them given dates.
We are a charity and had a grant for the £9000 order but in Jamie's words they have a lot of orders far larger than ours so ours is not a lot!
Mogo sent some of the order and 32 chairs were the wrong colour, I have tried to get these swapped and was promised 12 chairs yesterday the 14th September and nothing came!
I would never purchase from this outfit again even if they were giving things away for free!

Took a little longer to arrive than I had hoped but we are in the midst of a global pandemic so actually, probably arrived in good time =) So pleased with the table and benches! Beautiful colour - beautifully made - very, very happy.

What a FANTASTIC service from Kirkhouse !

We needed replacement seating on an existing beam frame in our launderette , but we had no idea of the model/make of chairs.

Jamie, at Kirkhouse ,asked for photographs and managed to source the suppliers in Italy and the replacements were shipped to us the following week !

Thank you , Jamie , for being so resourceful and getting such a fast result . We are delighted !

A brilliant online shop. I've ordered a chair that was delivered within 24 hours. The chair that I initially ordered wasn't in stock, however I got an offer to replace it by more expensive available option for the same price! The quality of the chair that I received was outstanding. Sales Manager Jamie managed the whole process very quickly and professionally.

Received a phone call explaining that there had been a price increase since my order and the chair would cost me another £40, so would I like to pay the extra or have a refund? Guess which I chose.
