I bought this Kit Kat due to the appealing picture: a golden wafer bar coated with thick chocolate which was displayed on the wrapper, but as soon as I bit into it, it appeared to be more grey than ex... See more

Rubbish Wrappers!!

Why did they change the paper and foil wrapper! The fun (and ease) of opening with your nail! The current wrappers are rubbish - always end up tearing little bits of it until eventually gaining access. Not the best invention. Bring back the old wrappers!!!

I used to love KitKat

I used to love KitKat. But not now. I thought the first time I tasted the new chocolate it was a bad batch. Its so unpleasant to eat I threw away the rest of my multi pack purchase and will NOT be buying them again

The chunky is absolutely tiny

The chunky is absolutely tiny, it's basically a normal kit kat stuck together. Also the taste has changed and tastes cheap. Not impressed, I will buy something else so it's an actual treat, not a waste of calories.

Why I will no longer buy a Kitkats

I am 70 and have always loved kitkats but there is nothing to enjoy about this new product. The chocolate tastes disgusting and one of the most enjoyable parts was running your finger along the foil prior to eating it. It’s such a shame they have ruined such a perfect brand.

Oh what have you done???

Oh what have you done???
I brought some Kit Kat bites for us to share at the cinema and we've binned them. When even my kids won't eat chocolate, then something is seriously wrong.
We were expecting pieces of kit kat and got some poor excuse for chocolate with little crumbs of wafer in. Had the name not been on the packaging, we would never have guessed it was Kit Kat.
Whoever came up with this idea.... needs sacking 🤮

Someone please explain this to me.

Someone please explain this to me.
I love kit kat but after buying this block which I compared to the packet that I already have at home,I'm a little shocked to discover the size difference.
I noticed the size difference between both blocks and both blocks are 170g,so I decided to weigh it which was way under the net it read, the other was just over.
I have pictures to show but am unable to upload.
So looks like you'll be losing a kit kat lover if this continues

Do companies not test drive their contact pages? Just tried reporting an issue with their Chunky Caramel KitKat bar (had no caramel - just air where it should be) and it wouldn't submit my form saying I needed to input a best before date and production time. I had inputted this info, but their system kept deleting it because there is a glitch and their system won't overwrite the mm/yyyy fields etc. Tried adding this info to message but system kept telling me required fields had not been completed!! Also form wouldn't upload photos!!! Customer service nowadays is terrible thanks to rubbish IT systems.

I placed an order on 31st Dec 2022 which I understand they won't back to work on 3rd Jan as per mentioned on their website. It has been past 8 days from 3rd Jan, Nothing is happening, contacted the customer service, her feedback was not helpful. I need those products by next week. It takes too long to finalise an order !!

KitKats taste worse

Thought the KitKats I bought for Christmas tasted worse. Then I got a moldy one and found out they changed the chocolate when looking for other moldy experiences. It’s true they taste like cheap Palmer chocolate now. I’ll never buy one again.

As a type one diabetic I use the dark 2 fingered Kit Kat as a remedy when I am hypoglycaemic. It has the perfect amount of carbohydrates (12) to bring my blood sugar back in to the norm range. But the new bar in the new package tastes disgusting, it has a hard, candy like, outer, tinned but similar to that found of MnMs and a extremely, sickly, sweet after taste, how they got this passed a taste panel beggars belief, they’ve lost my custom until they restore the old recipe.

We are dark chocolate Kit Kat fans

We are dark chocolate Kit Kat fans. The kit Kat’s in the new wrapper are horrible. Like cheap chocolate instead of good quality dark chocolate. The wrappers also don’t seem to be able to be recycled .

I’ve eaten KitKat all my life but never has the biscuit disappointed so much as it does now.
The new recipe is awful
The chocolate taste is hard and leaves an after taste. Tastes terrible with tea now and the wafer is not crispy anymore.
Smaller bars no foil to break and recipe change makes this a terrible buy.

Used to be moreish and the wafer crisp

Used to be moreish and the wafer crisp. No longer either. The wafer is always soft. Will no longer be buying Kit Kats. My son no longer wants to eat them either and now goes to school with a penguin bar in his packed lunch instead, much nicer and cheaper!!

Kitkats - Just awful

Just awful. I used to love kitkats, they were always my favourite by far. The chocolate used to be really creamy but now it’s just unpleasant. It tastes like coconut. Just not moreish at all. Very sad, won’t be buying them again and I’ve been eating them for the past 50 years!
