DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I dealt with this company 3 years ago and initially I was impressed. I bought a switzer rotarvator at a cost of nearly £400 and delivery went without a hitch. The first time I used it I broke a tine but when I contacted them they said they didn't stock them. As it was under warranty they were obliged to order one in. Another broke and they offered me money for it. I had to fight for a replacement. I even offered to buy it. A third one broke and by now I'm getting a feel for aftercare service. If they don't carry the parts forget it because it is too much effort to source them from the people they buy the equipment from. They are listed as distributer of switzer products as well as servicing and parts. Not worth the paper it's written on. Three years later and an axle seal has gone and they are no help whatsoever. They can get the part, all they have to do is contact switzer, they simply choose not to. I have never known such poor aftercare service. I will ever deal with this company ever again. I contacted them and warned them of this damming review but didn't care, not even an email to placate the situation.

As a footnote, Connor (customer service), if that's his real name was polite with his email responses throughout our conversations but obviously has to follow company policy making him as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Damaged before it was packaged up

Bought a gun cabinet from KMS. It arrived but was damaged, but it looks as if the damage occured before it was packaged. The cabinet is badly dented, scuffed and distorted but the cardboard box it arrived in shows little signs of damage. Tried contacting KMS but emails ignored so far and their phone number is not on their website. Annoyingly we were going to buy two cabinets but now need to get a credit card refund and start looking elsewhere.

Update: We have now been waiting 14 days with no response to our emails, so tomorrow we will be able to start the process to get a credit card refund. If you buy from these guys make sure to use a credit card not a debit card, it is your only guarantee.

Don’t buy from this company

I got a cement mixer from them, parts missing then wrong parts and can’t return as the packaging was in bits and I can’t return without original packaging.

Worse Ever Amazon Marketplace Experience

Twenty years using Amazon and this is the first time I have been let down by a Marketplace Trader. I received faulty goods (A Switzer Cement Mixer), packed badly, parts missing and broken and have waited two weeks for it to be collected. Twice I have stayed home to wait for a courier which did not turn up. It seems I am not alone in having difficulty returning goods for a refund. Hopefully now keeping communication via Amazon messaging rather than relying on emails direct from KMS this problem can be resolved and Amazon realise companies with such a poor customer service record have no place on their platform.

Customer Services par excellence.

Had an element go on a patio heater after 4 months emailed customer service and got an almost instant reply. After sending a photo I got the replacement element by return of post. Very impressed but unfortunately the element was broken, emailed with a photo and got another replacement but once again it was broken in transit. Think putting fragile on anything shipped is an invert action to throw it a bought Each time getting an email apologising from Coner (Customer services.) The third delivery I have just received with a complete replacement heater. To say I’m impressed is putting lightly. Great firm to deal with. Thanks Coner.

Great product and spectacular after sales service.

I bought a new gas lift chair for my home office - recliner, heated, massage. So basically and all singing all dancing home office chair - in fact it's a gaming chair, not that I game. It arrived in good time and I set about putting it together which was a bit challenging on my own but that down to me. Anyway once up it is a really good chair and all the functions worked as they should. So after several weeks the gas lift failed. So I dug out my receipt and sent an email. 10 minutes later I got an email back asking to quote my full address etc. I did and again almost immediately I got a reply saying a replacement would be sent out. After about a 5 days I emailed asking for a status report and was toil it had been posted that morning. 2 days later it arrived. So I decided to leave a review and was surprised at the negative comments, which I fully believe. But, I can only conclude that they have sorted out their customer service and for me I have no problems recommending KMS or their chairs (well the one I bought) and would certainly use them again.

Be very careful with this company

Be very careful with this company. They quote and invoice a figure for goods including delivery and after you pay the invoice they refuse to deliver the goods unless you pay up to 40% extra (uninvoiced) for delivery.

AVOID! RETURNS HASSLE

Awful company. Purchased thru amazon and struggling to get it returned, to n fro delay tactics asking for same thing even tho Amazon themselves sent them images they play dumb and like they havent got them.
They also send items clearly returned and used, the table we bought was unacceptably marked. Was going to purchase more items from them but NEVER again!
Worth of a company is how they deal with complaints avoid like plague. Dont say i didnt want you!

No hassle at all

No hassle at all. I Ordered on the sunday recieved the parcel by wednesday morning. I was over the moon with the service I will definitely recommend to anyone. Good quality dingy excellent price aswell and came with the foot pump and oars. I will be getting another as it's such a great product.

Warning to all potential customers

Warning to all potential customers . If you receive a product from this company that’s of bad quality they will refuse to collect and expect you to pay for a courier for return and won’t even you you return yourself .

I followed a Gumtree ad for a boxing bag the material was very hard and I’m not happy with the product and even though they know it was ordered for my son with special needs they expect me to pay 30 pounds return for a product that cost just over 130 .

Order from a reputable dealer and not some cowboys.

Poor customer service

Hi
We ordered a patio set from this company but unfortunately the courier lost one of the packages. This is not KMSdirect issue but the way it was subsequently dealt with is their issue.
An unwillingness to take any action or advise what they were doing over numerous emails, finally they said they could not supply the missing box despite still offering the products for sale on their web site.
They the insisted I stay in all day to await the pick up in order to get a refund. They refused to arrange a collection time slot even though the courier they use has this option.
You will not be surprised to hear that the collection did not take place, so I have half a patio set with the company refusing to answer my emails and no way to resolve this.
I am hoping this feedback will illicit a response from the company and they will resolve the situation.

I purchased a Switzer cement mixer from KMS over a year ago and only assembled it a few days ago to find that the motor did not work even though there was a hum from the motor. It would not work even with a push on the drum. I contacted their service department who gave some vague sugestions which did not help. I contacted then a second time and their reply was that they could not suggest anything else. I wrote a third time but they have declined to be of any further help so Im warning prospective buyers to be cautious!
I know it is a long time since purchase but I would have expected a bit more help.

NO INSTRUCTIONS & PART dELIVERY glass dining…

well I ordered a westwood glass dining table with 4 chairs on 18th April 2020, firstly the process of communication via email is very poor, they stated that the delays in communication is due to COVID19, so alrm bells rang, but I gave the benefit of the doubt. I had no way to track my parcel for days, compared to another distributor that I used on same day, who was giving regular updates each day. Anyway, this morning io finally received an email from YODEL stating that the delivery would be today. Fine no problem, it arrived at the time yodel stipulated. However!!!! I have only received a dinoing table, no chairs!!! I ghave contacted them, but office is closed, I was fuming.

anyway I decided to open the package to at lease set up the table, which is f;at packed self assembly, - and low and behold, NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS.

Is this company really serious?? need to know who to contact, I
