I love selling with knife market
I love selling with knife market. They are very secure. I really like how they protect both the buyer and the seller. It always feels really safe. I have contacted knife market once or twice and they always respond very quickly and the problem always gets resolved. I will keep selling with knife market always. I’ve sold six knives with them and all of them were very pleasant experience.

KnifeMarket is a great way to sell your knives. I recommend it to anyone who’s wanting a safe and secure way to unload some cutlery and get paid promptly with only a little bit of effort. It does take some time to get good photos of your knife, and follow their required steps but it’s all worth it! Their fees are completely reasonable. I couldn’t be happier.

I recently sold two knives through Knife Market and had an excellent experience. I was a little hesitant at first about shipping the knives overseas to Switzerland, but the entire process turned out to be completely flawless.
The transaction was very easy from start to finish, and their customer service was excellent. They kept me informed throughout the process and made everything simple and straightforward. From the time I shipped the knives to receiving payment, the whole process took only nine days.
I would absolutely recommend using Knife Market if you’re looking to sell knives. It was smooth, professional, and reliable. 100% recommend their service.

The seller couldn't have been better
The seller couldn't have been better. My only issue was the DHL shipping. I was charged $99.34 on an item that was sold for $160 + $35 DHL shipping. That's an 83.9625% DHL charge on the order. I do not fault the seller. This has something to do with how Knife Market is processing the order. Another knife from the same country of origin (japan) did not have the same DHL surcharges.

Thanks for your review.
We charge $35 for shipping to the US. The $99.35 charge was for the import duties. This is a direct effect of President Trump's new tariffs on steel and steel products, a tariff of 50% on the order value.
There's nothing wrong on how we process the shipping label, but we did notice that it's a bit of a lottery with CBP and which tariff rate they apply. Sometimes they apply a 20% tariff (which is actually not the correct rate for steel knives), while sometimes they actually apply the correct rate (50%).
We have no control over this. You were simply lucky with the import from Japan. They either applied the wrong rate or the Japanese seller applied a different (wrong) HS code to the shipping label.
