I recently purchased a budget bushcraft…

I recently purchased a budget bushcraft knife (beavercraft dusk) The blade was sharpened in parts and dull in others on arrival and having performed minimal tasks with it for less than a half hour it was completely blunt and would not sharpen properly again. All due credit to yourselves, returning the knife was not a problem, your staff were excellent in that regard. I asked for a replacement and within 4 weeks it arrived and I was impressed by your customer service. However, upon opening the box I immediately knew it was not a new knife, the blade was worse that the first one, literally no edge, it had wear marks on both sides and a small but immediately noticeable chink on the side of the blade. I was very disappointed so I sent an email straight away with my complaints and again credit to yourselves your staff emailed my within a very short time. I was asked to sent photos which I did on 10/03/26 and I'm waiting for a reply

Good service, poor geography

It's always been easy to order from and deal with Knivesandtools.ie however it is not based in Ireland as the .ie would lead one to believe. I have done a lot less business with them since they started to treat Ireland as part of the UK and refused to send legal knives to Ireland from The Netherlands, where they are based because, "they, pass through," the UK.
Good service let down by poor geography.
