Useless and broken plugin

They say their prestashop module works well. I asked for a refund and they keep saying their plugin is working. By the way I found a similar plugin with the same favicon on another site and it works.

What you need to Know about Knowband.

First of all, if you pay Knowband, never use your credit card. As Kenji Law and Wong Keith said in the facebook reviews, Knowband can save your mastercard/visa information in order to process unauthorized transaction. By illegal way, they use the saved data in order to charge you for "custom support" you didn't ask.

Many reviews are fake.

You should know that Knowband is an Indian company. Therefore, it will be very hard to go to court if you have any problem with them. They are aware of this.

As far as we are concerned, Knowband broke our e-shop with many bugs. We had to start it from scratch. We lost about 24000€ because of Knowband developers. We asked refund only for 1078€ : this was for the missing job they didn't do yet. Even this small refund was refused.

We bought 5 plugins from them : preferred delivery time, loyalty points, store locator and pickup, shipping cost by zipcode, product availability check by zipcode, and infinite scroll. The plugins didn't work at the beginning (except for "infinite scroll"), so we had have to ask Knowband for developments (it is often like this with their modules, you buy it and it doesn't work). You have to write many tickets in support, in order to resolve the problems. Unfortunately the work is so slow, and they add SO MANY BUGS in your website, this is amazing (cart not working, prices change by itself, payment method not working because of bugs, or because they forget to delete "Test mode", so customers call you because they can't pay). I talked to many Knowband's customers, and we never saw as many BUGS from developers.

Bugs appear almost every time they work on your website (MANY BUGS), and they ask you to pay for "custom support"! They ask money in order to resolve the bugs they put THEMSELVES in your website. When you ask them to do a job, the work is often slow, and if they don't finish, they ask you to pay again the "custom support". One day, they asked me to pay "custom support" because a developer left and they had to give this job to other developer, which would represent "extra cost" for them (!) (why should I pay for this ??) Even if your website isn't working (for instance, customers can't pass their orders), they can wait up to 7 days in order to solve the problem!

When you ask them to do a work, I often had the case when they did only half of the work and kindly tell you that the job is done, and to kindly check that everything is alright. Then, you kindly ask them to read again the message where you explain the job, and they tell you to SHOW you what is wrong, with making a short video or screenshot, even if it is OBVIOUS that they didn't do the job you paid for! Only Knowband customers know what I am talking about.

We had to pay other Prestashop developer in MALT platform, and he told me that the bugs were coming from Knowband's work (Knowband often say that the bugs is NOT from them, so that you pay them in order to resolve the bugs! amazing).

Prestashop developer from MALT platform told me that developers from Knowband who worked on my e-shop did very bad job, he said the quality of their code is very bad. According to him, it is not surprising from this company. As far as we are concerned, they entirely broke our website. We had to desactivate all their modules (which were full of bugs). They broke our "cart" page (page reloading by itself when you click on "continue" button, developer in MALT platform told us this came from 2 Knowband modules which interact badly with each others). Every time they resolve 1 bug, 2 more bugs will appear in your website. I can't believe we lost 24000€ because of Knowband. Furthermore, they even don't want to refund us the 1078€ for the work they didn't do on the plugins! (we told them we wouldn't work with them anymore, because all of the bugs not resolved for months).

Customers were calling us EVERY DAY for MONTHS because of the bugs. Please don't purchase any module from this company, or you will regret it. Don't give them access to your website. If you do so, I may find you here in the comments.

product does not work, I have been asking for a refund for weeks and they do not refund. They keep proposing assistance for a product that doesn't fit. I should have read bad reviews before buying. Be super careful.

The Knowband team assisted me in transferring all of my listings from Prestashop to Ebay Store. They almost have the same drive and determination as I do to get my products on the market and selling.

I purchased the Prestashop Mobile App builder module, and for reasons due to my client, I exceeded the assistance period by a few days; so when I buy a module, the service that should be included that is the insertion on the stores must be done no later than 3 months, otherwise they ask for more money.
That is, I paid, I could not finish the app in the order of 3 months and without even working on it for 20 seconds, you tell me that it is not convenient for you ???
Your policy lacks clarity and transparency.

I do not recommend everyone buying modules from this developer, they pull as much money out of your pockets as possible without giving written clarity in the contracts.

Ho acquistato il modulo Prestashop Mobile App builder, e per cause dovute al mio cliente, ho superato di qualche giorno il periodo di assistenza; quindi quando acquisto un modulo, il servizio che dovrebbe essere compreso cioè l'inserimento sugli store deve essere effettuato entro e non oltre 3 mesi, altrimenti chiedono altri soldi.
Cioè io ho pagato, non sono riuscito a finire l'app nell'ordine dei 3 mesi e senza averci lavorato neanche 20 secondi, mi dite che non è conveniente per voi???
La vostra politica manca di chiarezza e di trasparenza.

Sconsiglio tutti l'acquisto di moduli da questo sviluppatore, vi tirano fuori dalle tasche quanti più soldi possibili senza dare chiarezza scritta nei contratti.

before I bought the addons to magneto, they respond immediately but when I spent money I didn't get the product, and no response. Do not buy there.

I can honestly say that I'm impressed with the speed and professionalism of the customer service of Knowband. We had some problems with installing but got an immediate response that fixed the issues. I bought the Prestashop One Page Checkout by the company and it has served me well. It works like a charm for my business. I have witnessed the difference after installing the same. I warmly recommend this company for providing such a great experience to their customers.

Edit: Despite the reply below they haven't offered any further help or made attempts to contact me. Please don't trust this company, who do not offer support for their broken products.

After long struggel i finally got the module to work. Communication has been a struggle, but they finally managed to find the error. So positive they finally manged to fix it, but it to a bit to long time.

I've purchased several modules from different developers, but I've never received such prompt responses and solutions to a problem I've addressed. The Knowband team is always willing to assist when needed. Module works brilliantly. Highly recommended from my side.

I Bought MAB Module, is working fantastic and great support team from knowband.

I have been using knowband plugins for a long time and I am completely satisfied with their solutions especially with the Return Manager plugin. Also, Support was excellent as they helped me in fixing my website's bug.

I have implemented many plugins by Knowband in my online clothing store. There are some Magento extensions that are really useful for me. As an e-merchant, I am very much satisfied with the services. I have also asked for customization in one of the plugins and they delivered it before the promised date. It is very impressive.
