Dishonest. Will make promises and not deliver

Here’s the TLDR for those of you that don’t want to read the whole thing:
They will make you all kinds of promises to get you to buy, then they completely don’t care about after you sign. Cam is very dishonest.

My experience started off good, however by the end it has become clear that these people will say and do whatever they need to to get you to sign, but once you sign they no longer care about you. I would like to give a better rating based on the beginning of the process, but when you get treat people so badly after the sale it negates all of the good will you create at the beginning. I would encourage you to read the other bad reviews on Google , as this is the basic theme, complete lack of customer service and dishonesty after they’ve made the sale.

The sales person I originally dealt with was very friendly, the problems began when Cam entered the picture. He made a lot of promises. He offered me cash back. I opted to just reduce some of the down payment instead, that’s fine. He said I would get my first 3 payments deferred so I could pay to get my truck fixed, and even saying that he would give me cash if I didn’t get the deferred payments. He also promised that I would get a block heater and a remote starter installed that they would pay for. When it came time to actually sign the paperwork. I had to goto a different dealership to sign. None of what we agreed upon was communicated to the other dealership. They even thought price of the car $1000 more but luckily I noticed and called Cam and confirmed. I didn’t get deferred payments, but the didn’t bother trying get it because it doesn’t save you money anyway, so I wasn’t upset about it. This is the stuff that wasn’t really an issue, but it does show how he was very quick to make lots of promises that he couldn’t keep because I dealt with a different dealership for contract anyway.

Now we get to the part that really make the experience terrible. Trying to get the block heater and the remote starter. I messaged the original sales person regarding getting the installation done and she told me that Cam was going to call me. I waited a few days and didn’t hear anything, so I messaged her again and she said that Cam would call me that night. Almost a week later and still nothing. So I finally went in person to talk to Cam. He then told me that because he gave me a thousand dollars of the price of the vehicle, he could only do either the block heater or the remote starter but not both. This ridiculous because he agreed to the price and the installations before I signed anything. So I just conceded and agreed to just the remote starter. Another week goes by and Cam hasn’t responded yet any of my texts messages. So I just accept that I am not getting ANY of what he promised and I post a bad review on Google. Immediately I am suddenly back on Cam’s radar. He messages be telling me that I was supposed to make the appointment, but he never said that prior and also could have easily responded to one of my text messages telling be to do so, but instead he just ghosted me. He agrees to do both block heater and starter and asks me to take my review down because his boss is angry at him. So I take the review down. So I do all the leg work and get quote and all Cam has to do is pay for it. But it been another week and he stopped responding to my messages again. I even emailed the original sales person, and no response. Clearly it was just more lies to get me to take down the review.
