Stay Away

I work heavily in this space and their practices are very shady. This was purchased by my mother for my son. They auto-renewed a subscription on a 1 year plan without sending any kind of notification as is legally required by California State law. When I objected they simply responded by saying "we don't do refunds". Reporting them and taking this further

Kodable is more interested in taking your money

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Kodable. Despite initially being attracted by their free trial offer, it became evident that the company is more focused on squeezing money out of its customers than providing quality service.

Four days ago, I missed the deadline to cancel my free trial, and since then, it’s been a nightmare. I reached out to their customer service, hoping to resolve the issue amicably, but was met with unhelpful and inflexible responses. They refused to cancel the subscription or refund the charge, stating that their policy is firm, regardless of how close the cancellation request is to the trial end date.

The impression I got is that Kodable is more interested in taking your money than ensuring customer satisfaction. Their approach to handling trial period cancellations is not just strict but seems designed to catch people out and make it difficult to avoid charges. This is a clear indication that their business model relies heavily on trapping customers into paid subscriptions rather than earning their loyalty through good service.

To anyone considering using their services, be extremely cautious. Their trial period policy is unforgiving, and their customer support is far from empathetic or helpful. It feels like they are waiting for you to slip up so they can make a quick buck.

Save yourself the hassle and frustration and look for a company that values its customers and offers fair, transparent business practices. Unfortunately, Kodable falls far short of these standards.
