Good apps easy to use, help us to exercise

Brilliant - especially for those going onto the fjords cruise ships.

It is a good tool to plan and find your way through the mountains by bike or hiking.

Easy to use. Always works even offline. I use it for cycling and walking.
Also good to find new trails or nice walks in cities.

I know how many meters up and down will we ride, this is important when planning a bike trip with children.

My subscription disappeared on my phone. I have been having dialogue with several persons from Komoot customer service - including sending screen-shots of payment and order numbers and so on. It is an endless loop of nothing. Sometimes it seems like an actual person is answering, but most of the time it seems to be auto-generated answers saying they are sorry but would you please send this and that. I accept that I lost my subscription cause I just want out of their loop...looking for another piece of software for the mountains

One of the better apps for planning routes. I’d give it five stars except some of the functions are a bit fiddly to learn how to use. A bit of a beginner’s tutorial would help.

Great ideas for walking

I’ve been using the Komoot app for a good 12 years now and have bought the map pack for the whole world. As a long-standing user, I’m afraid I can say with certainty that this app is getting worse rather than better. The maps aren’t always up to date. It’s a bit like: ‘A Unimog drove through here two years ago – that’s a brilliant single trail!’. The automatic route recalculation can completely mess up the whole route, you suddenly find yourself heading off in a completely different direction. The voice guidance is a disaster. Instructions to turn left or right, even though the map shows you should go straight ahead, are the order of the day. Or the other way round, depending on the situation. Or you get conflicting instructions every second: you’re told to go left/right, turn back, and so on. Battery usage has also got much worse, the app used to barely drain the battery, but now it takes the battery from 100% down to 20% within 5 hours, so it’s unfortunately no longer suitable for day trips without a charging possibility. And that’s not to mention the countless attempts to push a subscription. Yeah, right – if you’ve already turned it down 20 times, it might just work on the 21st attempt. Definitely. Don’t give up!

Easy to use, lot of info

Fairly good app , having used a few it one of the better ones. Excellent mapping including OS maps , we have come across odd map errors , lanes that don't exist! Or so badly overgrown there unusable.

Since bending spoon took over it got worse week by week! In the beginning they removed bugs, that was good! But now we have to buy this, see that and many other Pop ups appear. I was a big fan, but now I don’t like that at all. It is only annoying.
