Bad return policy

Paid but no shoes

Ordered beautiful sneakers as a gift for my partner, but had to return them to exchange them for a different size, in line with Komrad's return policy. They received my return on 12 May. On the 6th of June I enquired into the status of exchanging the shoes and again on the 23rd. It is now the 7th of July and I still have not received a reply. So I've paid for the shoes, the costs of sending them back and am left with nothing...

Stuck with a pair of shoes I can't wear…

Stuck with a pair of shoes I can't wear - size doesn't fit and their return-portal is not working, so I can't return them for another size. Customer service is ignoring my emails and also doesn't react via other channels like Instagram. It's a shame as the shoes look / feel nice, but they don't care about their customers at all apparently. Stay clear.

Return Portal Fails

so far the shoes seem good, but the customer service is non existent. I would like to return my delivery as it is the wrong size, but the return portal can't find any order with my number.

No shoes, no response

Placed my order and got an automatic confirmation e-mail. After that: two weeks of silence. No response to my e-mails asking when the shoes would arrive, nothing. Luckily I was able to dispute my payment, a dispute they never reacted to either. I have my money back, and I'm never ordering here anymore. Feels more like a scam than a responsible company.

Still waiting on my order after a month and multiple emails to both their public addresses with no replies. My order is showing as confirmed on their website, and ~£70 has gone from my account, but nothing since!

Very disappointed as I was happy to pay a bit more for sustainability and ethics, but now I feel like I've been scammed.

I don’t know what's going on with this company; at this point it has been two weeks since placing my order. The order is still unfulfilled and they are not responding to my e-mails. I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever see these shoes.

No shoes, no replies

Update: they reached out and apologized. A few days later I received my shoes. They look and feel great, they honestly feel like something special, but still hassitent to order again.

The shoes seem very nice, but it has been two weeks and 3 e-mails later, no shoes and no replies.

Some days have passed and I also tried to contact them via Instagram. No luck there either. Looking back at old reviews they have been struggling with customer service for several years. Avoid this place, if you get anything in the first place, returning it and getting your money back will be another issue.

Fantastic shoes with incredible sustainable value

appel leather let down

I bought shoes made of appel leather:- they look great but:
- the plastic layer on the outside of the shoe bubbel and detaches from the material under it within 45 days of wearing the shoe
- the shoe has no ventilation, so its like wearing plastic shoes - hot and sweaty

After this review, i got an e-mail to remdy the situation, they will send me a new pair. Good customer service!

More margin, less quality

The quality and comfort of the more or less same Komrads sneakers I bought a few years ago in a shop in Utrecht were much better. The similar sneakers I bought recently were in my opinion absolutely not of the same quality.

I have been trying to get a refund for…

I have been trying to get a refund for a pair of trainers without success. My return was accepted on 9 May however I have not heard from the Company. I have been emailing and my emails are not responded to, the trainers were too big, which is the only reason for returning them, however my experience trying to get a refund has been awful.

Friendly customer service

I ordered a pair of Komrads, i received them very quickly. Unfortunately there was a defect on it. I contacted the customer service and they replied very kind, thank you for that. They've send me a new pair of shoes en these are really great. Love them. :-)
