Kongwa Bakes is a family bakery in Medway, Kent, baking real bread and celebration cakes by hand for homes, offices and events across Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Strood and Rainham. Our sourdough is naturally leavened and fermented for days, never rushed, so you get a deep open crumb and a crackling crust. Alongside our sourdough country loaf and sourdough rolls we bake croissant sourdough, focaccia, brioche loaves and buns, cinnamon buns, banana loaf, banana muffins, cookies and soft pretzels. Our cake counter covers Victoria sponge, chocolate fudge, red velvet, carrot and walnut, Guinness marble, blueberry and cream, lemon drizzle and cupcakes, in sizes from 8 inch to 12 inch. For birthdays, weddings, christenings and anniversaries, we also make custom cakes to your brief. We bake fresh for Saturday, and can do earlier days with two days' notice. Order online at kongwabakes.com and pay securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Collect in Rochester between 8am and midday, or choose local delivery across the Medway towns on orders over £25. We also supply cafés, offices and event planners with fresh bread, pastries and desserts for breakfasts, meetings and celebrations. Food safety matters to us.
