I've been using Koreanbuddies for my shopping in Korea for the past 6 years and can vouch for their quality service since day one. Whether it's clothes, cosmetics or household items, they've always been quick to respond (usually respond within 24 hours) and good at providing parcel updates in an organized manner (with pictures of package content and tracking numbers provided automatically). Shipping time is relatively quick too (around 2 weeks to get to Canada), even during the pandemic! Their team is reliable and the service charge is reasonable. Koreanbuddy agents always go above and beyond to make the buying process smooth - they would personally reach out about promotions, giveaways and cost-saving shipping options too (like last time, when I purchased a few hair clips and a tote bag to ship to Canada- they suggested using the KPACKET option, instead of the regular small package option, which would've taken longer and costed more --- duties and taxes in Canada are no joke...) Point is, I've really enjoyed using their service throughout the years and will certainly continue to do so :)

brilliant service, great proxy - however i found that some of the cards were slightly bent which was disappointing due to how they packed it but all in all, the staff are very kind and super helpful. if you have any questions, the staff will answer so quickly and efficiently.

Korean Buddy and Korean Buddies are run by the same people and this is my first time using the upgraded Korean Buddies website.

Korean Buddies is very experienced so when I requested something that ended up sold out, the staff signed up for notifications and was very quick purchase restocks. Recently, they had separate staff ready and waiting to buy something after I gave them the time and date of a resale.

Service Model:
You make a list of what you want to order or pre-order.
After submitting it, you'll receive an invoice.
After paying the invoice, they'll buy it for you (within a few hours during their M-F business hours in KR time). If you need it sooner or at a specific time, send a message or email so they can be prepared.
You'll recieve updates confirming what gets ordered successfully and what sells out. Anything they cannot buy for you will be refunded.
Pictures of what you order will be provided when they arrive.
Your order status is always updated so you know when everything is ready to package or consolidate.
When you're ready, you'll get a final invoice for shipping.

Fees: The pricing is transparent and their website has an accurate shipping table. Instant quotes are available so feel free to play with the numbers and make comparisons.

For service fees, each order submission has one flat service fee rate + a small percentage of the total order. I believe they receive money through PayPal so there is +6% factored in.

Optional membership is $15 for a month of priority service and Bunjang shopping service.

I've only used this proxy a few times, about once a year and I'm pretty happy with my orders and I'm very fond of how communicative and quick the email support is. Korean Buddies is quick, reliable, and trustworthy.

When it comes to customer retention, I strongly believe first impressions are very important. I can say with absolute confidence that KoreanBuddies is AMAZING and truly cares about providing excellent customer service. I placed an order on a site that was having a major sale, thus many items were getting out of stock really quickly. Their staff was very communicative and friendly through the constant back and forths, and were so kind enough to offer me discounts as I was having to constantly change my order and place new orders.

Admittedly, at the time of this writing, I have not gone through the entire process yet (items still have to be shipped), but if the remaining process is anything like the ordering process, then I'm confident it will also be a smooth sailing.

The fees they charge are relatively straightforward. For each order, if the subtotal is under $100, they will charge a $12 KB service fee (12% of subtotal if over $100). Then there will be a shipping fee and lastly another 6% to cover some PayPal charges. Will report back if the fees/charges are different and provide an update once I receive my package

Throughout the entire ordering process, I communicated most with Sol. Duke stepped in to help too. Both of them are amazing!

I've used KoreanBuddy twice and had good experiences both times. They responded to my questions quickly and were able to add additional items that I wanted. My items arrived quickly, packaged securely. I will definitely use them again in the future.

i was on instagram and saw an idol wearing a hoodie that had the cutest design so i had to get it! i had no idea how to use the site the hoodie was sold on so i researched a little on proxies and found koreanbuddy. it was extremely straightforward from the get-go and the estimate came in less than a day. shipping was the same quick & easy process. came from korea in literally two days. shipping is quite expensive but if you really want something, this is definitely the go-to for proxies. whole process took just about 9 days from order form to delivery!

I had a good experience with koreanbuddy, ordering a dress and a coat. Whenever I had questions about the wait time or how much would be able to fit in a box they also responded, and the box arrived packaged well and safe with items in good condition. However, a good idea to keep in mind would be to pay for all the items you want to order before paying the invoice and not add anything through message, as when I tried to do that I was just resent the shipping invoice. Though, the overall experience was good and the service is trustworthy.

I've used Korean buddy several times to order things that can only be gotten from the Korea fila website and it's went smoothly Everytime. They are also very accommodating when such things come up such as I couldn't pay the shipping invoice right away. I would definitely recommend them as a company.

Took 3-4 days for my order to arrive. That took faster than items I ordered locally. The transaction was pretty straightforward and didn't cause any confusion with fees and whatnot. Multiple payment options, too.

Love this website! Great and reliable place to get items from Korean websites. It is quite an expensive service, but they're able to get you items that you can't get if you don't live in Korea. I've ordered from them multiple times already. They reply pretty quickly considering the time zone difference gap is huge.

They are quick in response and seems reliable. However the shipping fees are too expensive. I was able to find another proxy service at a much reasonable price. 2x pair of socks shipping to sg cost about 24 sgd. They only had ems and DHL options.

I've been using KoreanBuddy since they first launched several years ago. They have been my go-to for ordering any items from Korea due to their quick responses and fast delivery. More recently though I have had several issues with KoreanBuddy and I am not sure if it's because of the pandemic or they have gotten a lot more popular, but either way it has been a very unprofessional experience. They still place the orders very quickly but they take a very long time to update you on when the items will arrive and take forever to ship out. After waiting a month for a response, I messaged them asking for an update on my order to which they responded "oh yeah, the items have arrived a while ago and we'll ship it out soon" as if I had to remind them about my order. In another separate order I placed, they didn't bother to tell me till a few weeks later that an item I requested was sold out or didn't arrive. Another time, I saw they posted on social media that they would be going on vacation in a month and orders placed during a specific time frame will still be shipped out on time, so I decided to place my order before they went on vacation. Even though my items arrived before they went off on vacation, they didn't ship out my items until AFTER they came back so I had to wait almost three months for my items to get to me. Every time I messaged them, their responses have been very snarky even though before they were much more friendly. It's extremely disappointing to see how they treat their loyal customers from the start and I will be looking for new proxies for future purchases.

I just want to share my experience of using KoreanBuddy service.

Last week i placed order for several products, which was on sale on korean online shop. Koreanbuddy support answered my request very fast, and in matter of hour order was paid and placed.
Then some time took delivery of my order from seller to KoreanBuddy office (but of course KB is not responsible for this timing), and after my order was measured in weight and photographed - i received photos and also was advised about more fast and cheap delivery service to my location (it was DHL). I paid for delivery invoice and parcel was sent to me within 1 hour. Next working day at 14 pm order was delivered to my home (i live in Japan).
Exceptional service!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience using Korean buddy! My items were picked up quickly and shipped quickly as well! Everything arrived to the US in perfect condition, and the staff at the company are very friendly and helpful! Shipping from Korea to the US is definitely pretty expensive, especially if you go over a few pounds, but I expected that and that's not something that the company can change, they're just the person that helps you shop and pack everything up and get it to you. I will definitely be using them again and telling my friends!

I am so so so happy I found KoreanBuddy! Wanted to buy jewellery from Korea and was recommended KoreanBuddy. They will get virtually anything for you so long as you can provide a link to the item(s), and take care of everything for you.
When I ordered my item I was not aware you had to set up an account for it as my understanding of Korean is very limited, and they even went as far as to set one up for me.
They respond quickly, they're very transparent about their fees, they keep you updated through the whole process, and it feels really professional yet personal at the same time.
They also send you pictures of your items so you can confirm they're correct before shipping them out to you.

Even for me, who live overseas and ordered during the holidays, everything was quick and easy and my order arrived on my doorstep just a week later.

I hoghly recommend KoreanBuddy, and I'm definitely using them again in the future!

I really like their website, it's simple and straightforward. You just give them the link of the item you want, state which color/size/quantity you want, and they make an invoice for you.

They sent me pictures of the items before sending them out, discussed shipping options with me which I thought was very honest and gave me the reason to shop with them again. It might be because of Covid 19 or it's just regular prices, but due note that shipping can get extremely expensive when you order heavier items. And you also have to pay import charges which is also quite pricey. But to me it's worth it, because I can get nice things I want for my home that I would not be able to get otherwise.

It's hard to say how long the whole process took, because I kept adding things to my order. But overall, it went quite fast. It takes about a week for them to collect the items (and that's probably because of Covid 19), and once they shipped it, it arrived in around 4 days (due note that I had a more expensive shipping option through DHL).

Overall, I am really happy with their service, and will definitely use it again.
