We’re glad to hear that your skylight shade with the solar recharge panel is working great, especially considering the challenge of installing it in a 12-foot-high, 2' x 4' raked skylight space. We understand that installations in these areas can be challenging, so it’s wonderful to know the final result met your expectations.

Regarding the remote direction issue you mentioned, this can be easily corrected through programming. If the shade moves in the opposite direction, please follow the steps below:

1. First, fully open the blackout shade.

2. Open the battery compartment cover on the remote control. Press and hold the P2 button until you hear a beep from the motor, then release the button.

3. Immediately press and hold the STOP (-) button until the shade jogs (moves up and down once). Do not wait too long between Step 2 and Step 3.

4. If the shade jogs up and down, the direction has been successfully reversed.

5. Then press the DOWN button. The shade should move to the fully closed position.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We are delighted to hear that you are happy with the finished product and that the blinds are operating smoothly while effectively blocking direct sunlight in your three-season room.

You are absolutely right that our installation instructions did not provide sufficient information regarding remote programming. Remote setup can be somewhat complex, so in most cases we pre-program the remote controls before shipment to make installation easier for our customers. After reviewing your order, we noticed that the group-control function was not configured before shipment. That was our oversight, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We would also like to clarify one point regarding the remote control. The remote included with your order is actually a 6-channel remote, which can control multiple shades from a single device. Each of the six channels can be assigned to control an individual shade independently, while additional group-control configurations can also be programmed as needed.

Based on valuable feedback from customers like you, we have recently redesigned our installation documentation. We now provide both printed and PDF versions of our instructions. Going forward, customers will receive PDF manuals by email before delivery, including a dedicated remote programming guide, and a printed instruction booklet will be included in every package.
